Here's How Typical American Foods Compare In Different Countries.

If you're an American or if you've lived in America long enough, then you absolutely know what stereotypical American cuisine might look like. We do have a bit of a reputation, if you know what I mean.

But to non-Americans, certain food staples of ours can seem absolutely WILD. Here's how certain dishes are similar in other countries — but also how very, very different they can be.

Trump blocks three Florida congresswomen from visiting Homestead child detention center

But Schultz, Shalala and Mucarsel-Powell said their denial is “illegal,” referencing Section 234 of bill 115-245 (the 2019 Department of Health and Human Services Appropriations Act), which was amended this year to say members of Congress can’t be prevented from “entering, for the purpose of conducting oversight, any U.S. facility used for maintaining custody of or otherwise housing unaccompanied alien children.”

HHS did not comment on their rebuttal when asked multiple times by the Miami Herald.

“During our last visit to Homestead, we witnessed children living in cramped, prison-like conditions,” the joint statement said, referring to a tour of the facility earlier this year. “The idea to force even more children into an already full detention facility is not only unsafe, but is cruel and violates basic tenets of human decency.”

So the orange one had his re-election kick off...

My question is how can he have a re-election kick off when he been doing this re-election stuff since he got in office?
He has been having rallies and playing golf instead of doing any real work. He has been embarrassing our country at every chance he gets.
This whole thing needs to end, not get rebooted!

Might be a stupid question. Is there anything I need to look at when I pick up my walker?

AHCCCS is sending to a place to pick one up, but I don't know if there is anything I need to check on it to make sure it won't like fall apart on me when I walk out the door, sorta speak.
This is whole new territory for me, I don't know what to look for....

Invisible People report- "Homelessness and Self-Esteem: The Real Mental Health Issue".

Factors of homelessness can certainly wreak havoc on one specific aspect of the personality. That is self-esteem. Living homeless in one of the richest nations in human history is already proven to adversely affect all three components that create our portrait of self-value. They are self-perception, social comparison, and reflected appraisals (i.e. the way we perceive others as perceiving us). As you might imagine, this mental portrait doesn’t hold up well to daily problems homeless people face. Many complain about feeling unsafe, unclean, uncared for, and invisible.

Low self-esteem is a circular problem. Left untreated, it can give way to worse conditions like:

-Suicide
-Substance abuse
-Promiscuity and other risky behaviors
-Self-damaging actions and comments
