A losers idea of what winning looks like: Trump ripped for bragging about coronavirus response
on February 27, 2020
President Donald Trump was mocked on Thursday after bragging that America is way ahead in the battle with the coronavirus.
The commander-in-chief pontificated on the outbreak on Thursday and praised Vice President Mike Pence.
Do Nothing Democrats were busy wasting their time on the Impeachment Hoax, & anything they could do to make the Republican Party look bad, while I was busy calling early boarder (sic) & flight closings, putting us way ahead in our battle with the Coronavirus. Dems called it very wrong! Trump tweeted.
Trump was quickly criticized for his bragging, heres some of the criticism of his comments:...................................

How long can the new coronavirus last on surfaces?
I have glanced through many articles such as this.
Frequent Hand washing for 20 seconds is a common theme. good old soap and water.
BTW---20 seconds is a LONGGGGGGGGGGGG time when washing your hands.
I used to work in a neonatal unit and we had timers. It is so easy to cheat or count fast.

Some coronaviruses can linger on surfaces for up to 9 days.

China's central bank is taking steps to deep clean and even destroy its cash out of fears that the new coronavirus can survive on the surface of money and potentially spread, according to CNN.
But how long can the new coronavirus linger on surfaces, anyway? The short answer is, we don't know. But if this new coronavirus resembles other human coronaviruses, such as its "cousins" that cause SARS and MERS, it can stay on surfaces such as metal, glass or plastic for as long as nine days, according to a new study. (In comparison, flu viruses can last on surfaces for only about 48 hours.)

In the new study, researchers analyzed several dozen previously published papers on human coronaviruses (other than the new coronavirus) to get a better idea of how long they can survive outside of the body. The authors found that these coronaviruses can linger on surfaces for over a week but that some of them don't remain active for as long at temperatures higher than 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius). The authors also found that these coronaviruses can be effectively wiped away by household disinfectants.
deleted. This might be an old post.
Dearest #TrumpRally fans. Try not to catch the #cononavirus. Cover your mouth when
you cough or sneeze and stay away from other trump fans who you think might have colds.
Enjoy

sorry, but I have used my allotted free articles or I would post the article.
The Trump Administraion will kick hundreds of rural school districts out of a federal program that for nearly two decades has funneled funding to some of the most geographically isolated and cash-strapped schools in the United States.

WHO raises coronavirus threat assessment to its highest level: Wake up! Get ready! This virus may be on its way

World Health Organization officials said Friday they are increasing the risk assessment of the coronavirus, which has spread to at least 49 countries in a matter of weeks, to very high at a global level.
We are on the highest level of alert or highest level of risk assessment in terms of spread and in terms of impact, said Dr. Mike Ryan, executive director of WHOs health emergencies program. The group isnt trying to alarm or scare people, he said. This is a reality check for every government on the planet: Wake up! Get ready! This virus may be on its way and you need to be ready. You have a duty to your citizens, you have a duty to the world to be ready.
The world can still avoid the worst of it, but the increased risk assessment means the WHOs level of concern is at its highest, he said at a press conference at WHO headquarters in Geneva.
World leaders still have a chance to contain the virus within their borders, Ryan said. To wait, to be complacent to be caught unawares at this point, its really not much of an excuse.
Outside China as of Friday morning, 4,351 cases across at least 48 countries have been confirmed, including 67 deaths, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said. About two dozen countries have reported only one case. He said health officials are seeing linked epidemics of COVID-19 in several countries, but most cases can still be traced to known contacts or clusters of cases....................................

The Trump administration repatriated infected Americans over the objections of the CDC.
HHS then sent federal workers to interact with the infected population without adequate training or protection

Coronavirus patient at UC Davis Medical Center since Feb. 19 wasn't tested for days

................
Just before 10 p.m., the hospital published the memo that was sent to employees by UC Davis Health leaders earlier in the day and outlines the timeline of the patients admission and disclosed that several employees who were exposed to the patient self-isolate at home out of abundance of caution.
The patient, whom the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed has tested positive the COVID-19 strain, was moved to the Sacramento teaching hospital on Feb. 19, according to the memo sent to staffers by David Lubarsky, the head of the hospital and UC Davis Healths vice chancellor of human health services, and Brad Simmons, the health systems interim CEO.
This is not the first COVID-19 patient we have treated, and because of the precautions we have had in place since this patients arrival, we believe there has been minimal potential for exposure here at UC Davis Medical Center, the memo said.
The patient was transferred to the facility from another hospital, where a medical team had already put the patient on a ventilator.
The individual is a resident of Solano County and is receiving medical care in Sacramento County. The individual had no known exposure to the virus through travel or close contact with a known infected individual, California Department of Public Health officials said in a news release.
