APPLETON -- Former President Bill Clinton will be in Appleton on Friday, April 1st to stump for his wife. The event will be held at the Lawrence University campus. It's open to the public but people have been asked to RSVP on Hillary Clinton's website. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders spent the day Thursday, March 31st in New York -- where voters head to the polls on April 19th. But they sent surrogates to Wisconsin in an effort to drum up support ahead of the Badger State primary, which is April 5th.

United States Senator Cory Booker made stops in Waukesha, Milwaukee and Racine Thursday -- stumping for Clinton. Former Chicago mayoral candidate Jesus "Chuy" Garcia was in Wisconsin Thursday to stump for Sanders...........................

Hillary Clinton returned home in a fighting mood Thursday, laying out key positions on education, health care and the economy at SUNY Purchase while also taking aim at presidential primary rivals on both sides of the political aisle.

A hoarse-voiced Clinton stressed her Westchester County ties as she addressed about 500 supporters, just hours before Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, her Democratic primary opponent, held his first major rally in the state in the Bronx.

"So much of what we're hearing is contrary to who we are as New Yorkers and Americans," Clinton told hundreds of supporters during her first major primary campaign appearance in Westchester County since January. "Think about what we hear on the Republican side. It's really scary."......................

One of CNN's on-screen headlines on Wednesday was "Democratic Race Tight Without Superdelegates." That is not true.

How bad is it for Bernie Sanders? A new survey in Wisconsin released today by the highly respected Marquette Law poll gave the Vermont senator a solid lead, 49 percent, to 45 percent for Hillary Clinton — which is terrible news for Sanders if he hopes to capture the nomination. That's because he would need to win by a much larger margin in Wisconsin — Nate Silver estimates a 16-percentage-point landslide — to get on pace to finish with more pledged delegates than Clinton.

And that's not the worst of it. In New York, where Sanders would need to win by 4 percentage points, the latest poll from Quinnipiac as Clinton beating Sanders by 12 percentage points. The situation is even worse in Pennsylvania.

Of course, the polls can change, but........................ ..
