Rep. Jamie Raskin says the State Dept IG briefing was about nothing relating to the presidents impeachable conduct, and nothing to do with retaliation.
Instead, he says, it was about a packet of misinformation apparently meant to smear the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine.
Raskin also said the packets included conspiracies about the origins of the Mueller investigation. The origin is unclear but some of the folders appear to be from the Trump hotel. He described the documents as amateurish.
Raskin called the information an irrelevant distraction and questioned whether it was actually urgent, as the IG initially told congressional aides yesterday.

Putin/Trump always wanted Ukraine to be Russias captive. Putins man in Ukraine was Viktor Yanukovych whose:
Election in 04 was electronically rigged
Political opponents were imprisoned & poisoned
Regime gunned down 77 protesters leading to a Revolution & his ouster in 2014
Thread.

9. In 2009, CIA AGENT Stigall told the EAC that Yanukovich's campaign rigged the vote tallies in 2004 by "intersecting the votes before it goes to the official computer for tabulation" so that they could make "subtle adjustments to the vote." https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/election-watchdog-group-supports-call-for-independent-investigation-into-ukraine-election-results-yanukovich-campaign-team-tied-to-election-rigging-allegations-in-united-states-84466277.html

If we dont put a stop to Trumps Ukraine lies right NOW, Americas situation will come to resemble Ukraines situation more and more. We need the transcripts of Trumps calls with Putin and all info omitted from the Zelensky call memo.

Every article of impeachment against 45 that's introduced to public should be presented along w/ proposed changes for how we prevent this in future. If the charge against 45 is soliciting election interference, follow it up w/ restoring *& expanding* the Voting Rights Act, 4 ex.
Place both of these matters before the Senate at the same time, in relationship with each other. Like I've said before, I think the public needs to see both why the 45 admin has to go and the forward-looking vision for how we achieve democracy & equality in this land.
In the matter of election interference, we also can't allow Republicans, as they may try, to remove 45 from office for that crime & then otherwise continue with their party's domestic effort to deny Americans free & fair elections. Another reason it's key to connect these matters
Example of what I mean when I refer to the Republican effort to deny Americans free & fair elections: theintercept.com/2019/09/27/ger
