I believe it was Warren County, outside of Cincinnati, that had a snafu of some type

on election night 2004, and closed down for several hours.
The problem was never really explained and and the mystery remains to this day, and to this day casts suspicion on the results of the 2004 election, especially as regards Ohio's vote total.

Perhaps the NYT has Columbus confused with Cincinnati in this instance, or believes Warren county is near Columbus. It's about 80 or 90 miles away.

The first prayer was written by Kerry Weber, an executive editor of America Magazine.

He titled it A Prayer Amid an Epidemic. I thought the prayer was beautiful and pertinent to our present everyday lives.

America is a publication of the Jesuits, published online daily with meaningful articles regarding religious and moral life in the United States.

I was privileged to be introduced to "America" about 67 years, in the later years of high school, where a subscription to that magazine was required as part of the religious curriculum. Today the magazine is still current and forward-looking in its content.
I congratulate the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese for sharing these meaningful words with their congregants and the larger audience of Christian believers.

(I note the address of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America on E. 79th St., NYC. Wouldn't be surprised if they are nearby the headquarters of America magazine.... Good neighbors.)

It's not that Republicans care or not care about this; it's that Democratic women voters

may care about this.
If it were me - democratic woman voter- I'd likely not vote for the Republican or the Democrat in this race.

It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

John Roberts was also there front and center shaking hands with Sen. Lee and others.

Bad look, bad example, bad policy as Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court.

I understand it's not as easy for Trump to get the big money anymore.

Isn't the Trump campaign lagging behind Biden in fund-raising in the last month or two?

These are likely absentee ballot requests that were sent to every registered voter in Ohio.

The name and address of the voter was printed atop the form, if I recall correctly (I tossed mine, having already applied).

There seems to be much confusion between the absentee ballot application and the actual ballot, which has not yet been mailed out to the voter in Ohio. Actual Ohio absentee ballots will be mailed during the coming week.
I believe the confusion is among those who have not used the absentee request system in the past.

Could also be some are deliberately sowing discord.
That's a whole 'nother story...

"I regret my error in judgment in not wearing a mask and in shaking hands..."

Fr. Jenkins went on to say that he set a bad example for others...
