I believe God does not live in time, as God created time when the universe was created.

God is outside of time; time began and will end.
The Divine has no beginning and no end.
My human mind does not/cannot comprehend all the nuances of time and eternity.

Paul Tipps, former Ohio Democratic Party leader, dies at 78.

The Cincinnati Enquirer and the Columbus Dispatch report the death of Paul Tipps in Columbus today.

A native of Cincinnati, Mr. Tipps attended the University of Dayton and became interested in politics in that city.
After running unsuccessfully for elective office once, he worked behind the scenes thereafter.

When he finished his terms as Ohio Democratic Party leader, the Democrats held every major office in the state, as well as the two U.S. Senate seats. He subsequently partnered in a lobbying firm. He suffered a stroke in 2010.

Is Rubio's wife a Southern Baptist? If so, that could account for

his attending Southern Baptist services with his wife.

Not only would I have no problem with that, it could have a most positive on his marriage and life with his wife and children.
It would show respect for his wife's beliefs; that respect would also have a beneficial effect on his children, who would see their father honoring their mother.

I'm presuming and hoping that Mrs. Rubio also attends Sunday Mass with her husband and children.

As far as his generosity in donating vehicles and other equipment to the

Sheriff's Department:

Has anyone asked whether he took tax deductions for those gifts?
IOW, was he really out much cash from those gifts?

Inquiring minds want to know.

My submission is - though broader in meaning that just atheists-

"heathen".

I will admit that the insult is in the mind of the insulter, rather than the insulted.
Rather like "liberal" is considered an insult by conservatives, while I, aware of the etymology of the term, take comfort in the label.

Cute, you bet. But, not surprising...

We know they are pack animals.
This one is super smart, though, to have figured out the means .

May I apply for the first dealership franchise?

I foresee a high demand and it should be satisfied.

Pray for those imprisoned, whether justly or unjustly,

and pray for their families, especially the children who may never know the touch of a parent.

You are one lucky man today, Steve, to have such beautiful visitors.

Yes, I realize you have serious health issues, but, today, this morning, you're one lucky man.

Enjoy the day.

Was politics part of the discussion before the "friend" said

"republicans" and "liberal"?

If she says this to your face, you can only imagine what she says about you to others.

Since most of my own friends (and some family) are Republican and I'm the non-confrontational type, I tend to keep conversations to fairly neutral ground, though I will speak up when an obvious factual error is presented.

Sometimes, it's just better to smile at certain individuals and move on.
