Employees are told to wash their hands after using the restroom;

Mothers teach their children to wash their hands in the same instance.
Most restaurants do not permit dogs (service animals excepted) or cats inside.
So how and why is it ever sanitary for a child's diaper to be changed anywhere around food or where people are gathered in public?
The child appears to be walking or at least standing.
The mother (or father) could have cleaned him up in the bathroom.
I hope the Starbucks was not busy when this took place.
How long have changing tables been around?
What did the world do before there were changing tables?

The Starbucks employees did not react well to this scene. - Probably, most of them haven't interacted with babies.
The father was even worse. - throwing his coffee on the floor. - Gee, that's mature.

Do you have a rooster that crows?

Seems like I've read about people in cities who have chickens - roosters, I would guess- who get a lot of flack from neighbors, and some areas have even outlawed chickens in urban areas.

May all be well.

I believe that you are a good son.
Will she have to stay off her legs for awhile?

It has been my opinion, as stated before on this site,

that Amb. Stevens took undue risk in going to Benghazi on Sept. 11, and knowing that security was not as it should be.

Because of his tragic death, the administration would not, could not, blame him, but frankly, looking at the outcome objectively, he was somewhat to blame for the outcome.

I always took my kids as far up front as possible

Four kids, two parents, one kid on each side of a parent.
When they are in one of the first few rows, they don't see as many distractions.
Of course, only so many families can be in front, but this solution can solve a few family's problems.

Funny story - I know of a woman, with several children, who, when she was tired of hearing the homily or just being in church, would pinch one of her children. When the child predictably cried, she removed the whole family from church, and went on with her day.

I'm coming to the conclusion that the woman from the IRS

who gave that "apology", who also happens to be a Republican, made that statement to stir up a little ****.
Trouble is, even when more info, balanced, comes out, the Fox news types will only have heard the initial report and will keep up the shrill noise.

What is your "constituency"?

Are you an office-holder?
What do mean "uninformed" ? What do you know re my information on guns?
Use your guns if that is what you must do to feed yourself and family, or to rid property of vermin.

I live in a large city, and we're civilized, meaning we have other occupations of our leisure time than sport shooting, and the known risks of gun owners re shooting family members, either by accident or by passion.

We have newspapers that daily carry news of unintended shootings or suicides.
In the cities we have libraries, universities, professional sport teams to occupy our minds.

The instances of guns being used successfully for home or bodily protection are far out-numbered by unsuccessful attempts. - Gun safes not really safe. Any family member with any wits can easily gain access and does, routinely.

Guns left in closets, halls, on beds - the list goes on.
Gun owners do not have perfect memories and can be distracted , just as any other human.
Those without apparent mental problems acquire instability for all the regular reasons - aging, alcoholism, genetic psychological problems that become apparent with maturity, etc. The list goes on.

Life is never completely safe, but I'll take my chances without having firearms.
I think I'm more apt to die a natural death than persons with guns, no matter how hard they try to protect themselves and their family.

Repeal and Replace

with an Amendment appropriate to 21st century conditions.
As for me - no gun, not now, not ever.

As I understand it, the VP must be

eligible to be president, under the Amendment that limited the Presidency to 2 terms.

Therefore, no President who has served two terms would be eligible to serve as VP - Bill Clinton, GW Bush, and Obama.
