As a non-Floridian but ardent Democrat, this is not hard to visualize.

We surely want to keep that Democratic Senator for Florida.
And I sincerely hope Bill Nelson is the winner.
And, yes, Rick Scott is a crook and scumbag.

However, Bill Nelson comes across, at least via TV, as a lackluster, boring person.
I'm appalled whenever I see him on TV, about to fall asleep and put his audience to sleep.

I agree that billboards and highway signs would help his campaign.
And any number of young, energetic Dem. officeholders and candidates to get people fired up.
County Dem leadership may have to take over and get the ball moving for Bill Nelson.
We can't afford to lose that FL Democratic Senate Seat.

I think many of us Dems don't fully realize how deep some people's hate of Hillary Clinton

really goes.
Anyone who consistently watches Fox, or reads the many right-wing sites has been preached to for years on the evil of Hillary.
They came to accept Trump as keeping Hillary out of office, and nothing else mattered.
Even though some may now be "disappointed" in what Trump is doing, or undoing, they are unlikely to change their voting patterns.
It's like renouncing their country or their religion; it is a deeply held belief and renouncing means renouncing all their thinking for years past.

I think Honeycombe handled the exchange with her brother very well.
Speak calmly, with facts.

I've enjoyed a quiche brand sold in Kroger that comes from Canada.

Can't recall the brand name, but it comes in Florentine and in Ham & cheese flavors.
Not frozen, but cold in the deli section.
A whole pie-shaped quiche, not inexpensive - ca $10 or $12- but it goes far.
Kroger doesn't stock a whole lot of them, so hope they don't discontinue stocking them due to 45's little adventures.
