No Vested Interest
No Vested Interest's JournalSay what you want about her, but Candy Crowley saw it
as part of her job to correct Mitt Romney's "inaccuracy" during the Presidential debates last fall,
and it had a powerful effect.
"Please proceed, governor."
You are blessed-
I never had grandchildren.
The one thing I've missed in my otherwise lovely life.
I've lived long enough to see anything justified
by people who want to believe what they are taught.
I don't quite understand the Dominionist thing.
Or the Curse.
I was watching a show on a Christian TV station which I found interesting because they were in the Amazon jungle among the native people, and the Christian narrator often referred to "Dominion" and "The Curse".
I am Catholic and we don't use those terms.
I believe "The Curse" refers to either Adam & Eve eating the apple & being forced to leave the Garden of Eden, or the "Curse" put on Ham - which I'm not too familiar with, because it's not a matter of much importance in Catholicism.
Anyone, care to clue me in - briefly- on these matters?
That's pretty sad. I'm in Hamilton couty
which, like every other one in Ohio, has been gerrymandered to produce two Republican congress people, though the city of Cincinnati votes Democratic.
We were blessed to have Jean Schmidt for two terms, a true embarrassment, until she was primaried and beaten by Brad Wenstrup, a podiatrist, who so far is voting the party line all the way.
Does the lt. Gov nominee run in tandem with the Gov. nominee
in VA? Or do they run separately?
I can't imagine any level-headed person taking Rev. Jackson for a serious candidate for political office.
Cuccinelli is bad enough, this guy is unbelievable.
Sorry to hear that. I hope those who
negotiate for prices for your company are getting the best deal possible.
My husband's company is a huge company, who always did well for their employees, and maybe they are contributing to the expense, which may benefit me, even though I've sort of been cut loose.
I'm assuming the rate you quote is for a single person.
If you have to pay as you noted, make sure you take advantage of routine services - cleaning, xrays every year or two.
No one is irreplaceable.
Death, illness, accidents happen.
Even presidents die, and they get replaced, and life goes on.
Changed, maybe, but goes on.
There are better policies than the one you are quoting.
I was on my husband's dental policy for years; only paid ca $30/mo.
About a year after his death it went to ca $36/mo for me.
I just got a notice it will be $44/mo for me after Jan. 1, but I've racked up a bigger charge than usual this year. - Had a $750 root canal, which will be followed by a new crown not sure of the charge, but at least equal to the root canal.
The company is Cigna. They also paid on twice yearly cleanings and occasional dental xray.
I wouldn't be without it.
