Congressperson, and well as any state and local officials that may be on your ballot.
It's very important that the best candidates be selected in these lower-level races.

Please make sure that you also vote in the down-ballot races.

These lesser federal (Congress) and state races are very important as well.
Encourage others to also vote all the way down the ballot.

A Prayer for Fire Victims in California, Oregon, and Washington

Almighty God, be with your people in California now in the midst of the fires.
Bring an end to the loss of lives and the loss of homes.
Bring aid to the firefighters who, by serving others, serve you.

Bring hope to the displaced and the homeless.
Bring rest and peace to those who have been lost, and let their souls find eternal life with you.
Be a comfort and relief to the grieving.

As the cities are rebuilt, may no one be left behind.
May we see you in the faces of those in need.

Ugh! I always loved the Big Bat in Louisville, but not any flying bats!

Yes, I know flying bats are good for ecology, etc., but still... Not anywhere near me , please.

The Big bat outside of the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory was vandalized overnight with red paint, according to Hillerich and Bradsby officials.

Museum staff was seen trying to remove the paint Monday morning.
The big bat is made of steel, weighs 68,000 pounds, and is the world's largest baseball bat.
It is a replica of Babe Ruth's baseball bat.

New babies can change a person's life quite dramatically as well as COVID.
Perhaps the combination of these two major events is overwhelming for Boris.

He's not so young to be adjusting to an infant in his life.
Also not particularly young as a Covid patient.
