Trump pardons former Rep. Chris Collins

Source: Buffalo News

"Today, President Trump granted a full pardon to Chris Collins, at the request of many Members of Congress," the White House said in a statement that did not offer any further explanation of Trump's action.

The Collins pardon was one of several the president issued. Two other congressmen-turned-felons, Duncan Hunter of California and Steve Stockman of Texas, were also pardoned. Hunter and Stockman, like Collins, are Republicans.

The timeframe on the footage matches up with the time outlined in the federal indictment against Collins, when he is alleged to have called his son to warn him to sell off stock from the Australian biotech company Innate Immunotherapeutics.

The continuing disenfranchisement campaign began losing well before the election.

Donald Trump’s efforts to curtail the impact of early votes suffered a blow after judges in two states rejected lawsuits intended to stop the counting of ballots, a sign that the president’s strategy of using courts to bolster his re-election chances is running into turbulence even before election day.

A federal judge in Texas on Monday dismissed a Republican lawsuit aimed at disqualifying 130,000 ballots cast by “drive-through voting” in Houston, and a Nevada judge dismissed a similar attempt to stop counting early votes in the Las Vegas area.

Republican fraud fact checked in Georgia.

When Georgia state Rep. Bee Nguyen (D) reviewed a list of voters who President Trump’s campaign claimed cast illegal ballots in the state, three names caught her eye: two friends and a constituent.
For days, Nguyen pored over public records, spoke with voters by phone and even knocked on doors in person to vet the Trump list. She found that it included dozens of voters who were eligible to vote in Georgia — along with their full names and home addresses.

On Thursday, when a data analyst who compiled the list told a panel of state lawmakers that it proved thousands of voters cast ballots in Georgia who should not have, Nguyen was ready.
“I do want to share with you some of the things that I found that appeared to be incorrect to me,” the two-term lawmaker told Matt Braynard, whose research has been cited in numerous suits filed by Trump and his allies, several of which have been tossed out of the courts.

Nguyen’s 10-minute dissection of the data offered a rare real-time fact check of the unsubstantiated claims of widespread fraud that the president’s allies have promoted in state hearings around the country, largely before friendly Republican audiences.
“If you are going to take the names of voters in the state of Georgia and publish their first, middle and last name, their home address, and accuse them of committing a felony, at the very minimum there should have been an attempt to contact these voters,” she said in an interview after the hearing. “There was no such attempt.”https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/heres-what-happened-when-a-georgia-lawmaker-scrutinized-the-trump-campaigns-list-of-allegedly-illegal-votes/2020/12/10/1400d628-3b06-11eb-bc68-96af0daae728_story.html

Is Lin Wood secretly working for us? See COINTELPRO for historical reference.

Voting records showed that Wood voted by mail in the 2020 and 2016 general elections, and requested Democratic primary ballots in the 2006, 2008, 2010, and 2018 elections.

While Wood has contributed to various Republican candidates according to Federal Election Commission records, the state documents show he donated to Democrats up to 2018, Breitbart reported. Wood contributed $2,000 to Ken Hodges, a Democratic Georgia appeals court judge, in 2018, as well as $2,600 that same year to Democratic state senator Zahra Karinshak.

In 2017, Wood contributed $12,600 to Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Evans, who was eventually defeated in the primary by Stacey Abrams. Evans and Wood have worked together in private practice.

Additionally, Wood donated $100 in 2014 to Perdue’s Democratic opponent Michelle Nunn, $2,300 in 2008 to Barack Obama, and $1,000 over two donations in 2009 and 2010 to Georgia Win List, a pro-abortion Democratic group.
