Is the ability to love proof we were created by God?

One of my favorite questions in life is how did an ameoba in a mud puddle develop emotions, like love and or hate? If you believe in God that answer is simple. For those who do not it is a very solid question, with many different answers. So i would like to ask you, what do you think? Is love proof we were created by God, or can these emotions be explained by evolution?

For the record I do believe in God, but realize that does not mean everyone else does. My best argument for the existence of God might be emotions, it's hard (for me) to understand how we were able to develop them if we did evolve from a puddle of mud.

By the way this is just a simple question, not an advertisement for religion. If you choose to not believe in God that is ok with me, I believe in personal choice and freedom to be independent.

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Thursday - Five Players to Consider for Week 8

Good morning and welcome to Waiver Wire Thursday's with your host "The Psychic Baztard" or TPB if you'd like. Week 8 in fantasy football is a crucial week, no one wants to fall to 3-5 if your team is 3-4 you still have a great shot at a title. A win this week would put you at .500 with 4 crucial games remaining for your team to make the playoffs. Typically 7 or 8 wins will get your team in the playoffs. So maybe it's time to make some changes and roll with the hot hand. For some of us the injury factor has taken a toll on our teams leaving us with no choice but to search the waiver wire. For others it is simply time to cut our losses with players who just can't seem to get it going this year. Having said that the following is a list of players you should be able to expect good results from or maybe even great results from.

Players I have added to make a playoff run:
Jarret Boykin WR - Green Bay (injuries to James Jones and Randall Cobb)

Mike James RB - Tampa Bay (injury to Doug Martin)

Peyton Hills RB - New York Giants

Beasley Cole WR - Dallas

Darrius Heyward Bey WR - Indianapolis (injury to Reggie Wayne)

Players that I have let go this week, to make a playoff run:
Roddy White WR - Atlanta

James Jones WR - Green Bay

Joque Bell RB - Detroit

Eddie Royal WR - San Diego

Steven Jackson RB - Atlanta (cut him next week if he does not put up double digit fantasy points this week) although I would not suggest starting him this week.

Good luck this week!

Blame it on the Bosonova the Dance of Love. - Top 5 Reasons Ted Cruz Tried to Stop the ACA.

5. Hoping to score broner points with Rush Limbaugh.

4. Hey at least I didn't bring up Benghazi again.

3. Everyone at Golden Corral thought it was a great idea.

2. It's really hot in Texas, I swear to God. Too hot to think clearly.

And the number one reason Sen. Ted Cruz decided to try to stop the ACA.

1. I was simply hoping to bang Sarah Palin, sorry.

So what do you think, why did he try so hard to stop the ACA?

The Republicans Will Make a Deal Long Before They Cost Their Campaign Supporters Millions

by allowing default and the loss of our AAA credit rating. Just how crazy is that thought? Considering the potential losses that would take place will affect the very people who donate to their campaigns more than anyone. I find that hard to believe. They will cut a deal, or they will lose campaign contributions from the corporations that will suffer as a result of a potentially lowered credit rating. They have no choice, they are only fighting now to see who shall receive the opportunity to get the credit for such a "tremendous" compromise for the sake of the country.

What do you think? Could this be a factor?

Is the US Becoming the New Rome?

Maybe it's just me, and this post is not even close to necessary but it seems the US is at risk of becoming precariously similar to the same destructive patterns we saw in Rome. A division of people brought on by cultural differences, in our case the two extremely different political views polarizing the country. Our military, much like Rome has been stretched across an ever increasing battlefield, leaving us in a weaker position that we would like to admit. Some might say the US is going through an identity crisis much like Rome in that we are not quite united on important issues such as war, and or social program support for those who need it.

Admittedly I am not a History major and these are just thoughts, but the point is a legitimate one. In spite of the division and hypocrisy displayed by some of our politicians Americans should consider ultimately we are all one. True we may continue to struggle with our direction but in the end the voters will have their way, and democracy will thrive.

Maybe this post is a waste of time, but please consider we can debate and argue all we care to, but ultimately we need to stay united at heart. The cream will always rise to the surface.
