Lindsey's two-fold agenda is to honor his friend McCain and help Trump. Excuse me, I need a tissue.

In an interview with CNN’s Kate Bolduan, Graham lashed out at critics who say he should speak up when Trump attacks deceased Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).

“To all those people who bring up this narrative, you just take Trump. You don’t really care about McCain and me,” Graham complained. “You’re not offended about me and McCain. You’re trying to use me to get to Trump. I’m not playing that game.”

“If you think the only way to honor John McCain is to tell this president, I won’t work with you, I won’t ever help you,” he continued. “That’s your agenda, not mine. My agenda is twofold, to honor my friend for the rest of my life in any way I can and to help this president.”

Graham added: “President Trump has been good to me in the sense that he’s allowed me in his world. He’s made decisions, I think, based on some input I’ve given him. He’s subject to changing his mind and I want him to be successful and I’m the senator of South Carolina and I’m going to do what the people of South Carolina want me to do is help make this president successful.”

Florida snowflake MAGAt kicked out of Tiki bar for ignoring "NO HATS" sign, cries "discrimination"

Mark Marlow went with his girlfriend to the popular Bahi Hut Lounge in Sarasota, where the Trump supporter said an employee refused to serve him, reported the Herald-Tribune.

“I was not drunk, I was not loud, I was not using profane language, I was not creating a scene — nothing,” Marlow told the newspaper. “They said it was just because of the hat.”

The 51-year-old Marlow stayed at the bar, and a few minutes later the employee threatened to call police if he didn’t leave peacefully, and officers arrived as he was walking out about 20 minutes later.

Police told Marlow the business had a right to refuse him service, but the conservative said the incident continued to bother him over the weekend so he searched the internet for his local Republican Party to lodge a complaint.

“I don’t know what to believe at this point,” said owner Jim Beck. “Right in the foyer as you enter the bar it says no hats. He’s saying what he told the gentleman very politely, very nicely, was no hats.”

Trump: "The illegal Democrat Witch Hunt of your all time favorite duly elected President, me!"

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

The Fake News Media has lost tremendous credibility with its corrupt coverage of the illegal Democrat Witch Hunt of your all time favorite duly elected President, me! T.V. ratings of CNN & MSNBC tanked last night after seeing the Mueller Report statement.

Betsy DeVos calls Special Olympics "awesome" after proposed $18 millions in budget cuts.

Appearing before a House subcommittee Tuesday to review the department’s proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year, DeVos said, “We had to make some difficult decisions.”

DeVos’s remarks came in response to questions from Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.), who pressed her on the amount of kids the budget cut would impact.

“I don’t know the number of kids,” DeVos said before Pocan answered that 272,000 kids would be impacted.

“I think Special Olympics is an awesome organization, one that is well supported by the philanthropic sector as well,” DeVos said.

The budget proposed by President Trump and supported by DeVos calls for nearly $18 million in cuts to the Special Olympics.

The billionaire businessman apologized for his actions in a written statement issued earlier this week.

“Throughout my life, I have always tried to do the right thing. The last thing I would ever want to do is disrespect another human being. I have extraordinary respect for women; my morals and my soul were shaped by the most wonderful woman, the love of my life, who I was blessed to have as my partner for 50 years,” Kraft said in the statement.

588 days until Nov. 3, 2020. No, Trump did NOT "win re-election" with Barr's "summary" of Mueller.

So sick of this. Just turned off Katy Tur's show because some NYT reporter was saying that the day Barr's memo came out "may go down in history as the day Trump won re-election."

I had a digital subscription to the NYT, which I canceled yesterday. They always want to know why. I told them. The NYT jumped on the "best day of Trump's presidency / he's been fully exonerated / it's a cake-walk to his second term" horseshit the second Barr dropped his memo.

I understand that we said "it will never happen" when Trump ran in 2016. I get the concept of not being complacent or over-confident. I also understand that it is not a "given" that the voting public will buy the lies and spin.

588 days.

Graham: Mueller Report will go to W.H., Trump legal team will redact based on "executive privilege"

Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham says Attorney General William Barr will not be releasing Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s actual report to the public for several more weeks.

Graham also says the Attorney General will send the report to the White House first, allowing President Trump’s legal team to redact what it wants to exclude based on “executive privilege,” according to McClatchy reporter Kate Irby.

Barr is not legally required to allow the White House to redact based on executive privilege – or to see the report first, or even at all.

In fact, one week ago House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler “claimed…that the Trump administration waived any claims of executive privilege over Mueller’s eventual findings ‘long ago’ when it agreed to cooperate with the probe,” Roll Call reported.

Barr wrote an unsolicited 19 page pro-Trump screed. He's Kavanaugh without the boofing.

I'm with Speaker Pelosi on this. Barr passed the "loyalty oath" and scored the job. End of story.

“Pelosi told House Dems in private meeting that Bill Barr’s words cannot be taken at face value, arguing he got job by authoring a memo criticizing Mueller obstruction probe,” CNN’s Senior Congressional Correspondent Manu Raju reports.

She was referring to the 19-page unsolicited memo Barr wrote and sent to the DOJ last year. In it, he reportedly said it’s virtually impossible for a president to commit the crime of obstruction of justice, as he is the head of the executive branch. The Dept. of Justice falls under the executive branch, but is supposed to be free from presidential intervention.

The Speaker “said Barr’s job is to defend the president and Democrats should wait to see what’s in the full report,” Raju said.
