Miles Archer
Miles Archer's JournalSay it ain't so...Eric Carmen has gone full-blown angry Chuck Woolery MAGAt on Twitter.
It came out of nowhere, a couple of weeks ago...he started tweeting about how he was going to block anyone who said anything bad about Trump.
Now he's re-tweeting Breitbart and Scavino's propaganda videos in a flood.
Some dust was raised with Steven Van Zandt...who is NOT a Trump supporter...which led Van Zandt to state that he's NOT in a feud with Carmen, that he respects his music while not agreeing with his politics.
Breaks my heart. Played The Raspberries to death in the 70s.
Oh WOW! Trump hires Mark Penn. So..fucking...WHAT.
Raw Story has a front page click bait headline on this:
Trumps divisive new hire will inject chaos into the impeachment process: ex-White House official

Sorry, this is just one more example of sub-Apprentice level stunt casting.
Number of fucks given: 0

I cant' believe Mark Penn would sell whatever is left of his soul to Trump level: 0
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone at DU. Screw Trump, I'm taking today off.
I'm not going to let that bastard burrow under my skin like a tick on a woodland walk today. It's Thanksgiving, I'm taking today off to enjoy it. I normally have cable news on, and news tabs open in my browser, but not today. All of the Trump bullshit will be there tomorrow. I'm not letting him poison today.
Have a wonderful day. Thanks to the folks who interact with me here. This day is for you, not for him. See ya tomorrow.
Fucking POS-in-Chief is turning the "turkey pardon" into an extended impeachment joke
Had to turn it off.
Wilco's "Bull Black Nova"...
I avoided Wilco for years, because I saw what seemed like a painful degree of hype...I did listen to Son Volt quite a bit, the other half of the Uncle Tupelo split.
This year, I decided I was going to finally start exploring. I picked a track at random..."Bull Black Nova"...and thought "Holy CRAP, this is EVERYTHING I LOVE about music."
I knew a little bit about the band's history...beginnings as a "twang band" a la early R.E.M., an abandonment of their early sound, a partial return to it in later years, and when I tried to listen to "Ode To Joy" I thought "What the hell is THIS turgid crap?"
I interact with quite a few musicians on Facebook, and just put the question out there..."What happened, what's the story here?" I was directed to the Marc Maron interview with Jeff Tweedy (available on YouTube) and Tweedy's own book.
Short version is the first song I picked, and loved, was described as an "outlier" in the overall Wilco catalogue...wouldn't ya know it...but I tend to do that, lock in on the "outside" stuff.
They lost me when their main stock in trade became somber, acoustic dirges. C'est la vie, I guess.
Another Thanksgiving holiday tweet from President Scutt Farkus.
@realDonaldTrump
Democrats going back to their Districts for Thanksgiving are getting absolutely hammered by their constituents over the phony Impeachment Scam. Republicans will have a great #2020 Election!

Rev Al had Hewitt on to explain that he read the "transcript" and there's no "there" there.
Jesus Christ, the script is written, Hewitt lacks the ability to do anything other than READ the script, he was SHITCANNED from MSNBC, WHY have him on?
Rudy now says the "insurance against Trump" thing was just good-natured tomfoolery. Oh, that Rudy.
https://www.rawstory.com/2019/11/rudy-giuliani-claims-he-was-being-sarcastic-when-he-said-he-had-insurance-if-trump-turns-on-him/
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who is now a lawyer for President Donald Trump, tweeted on Saturday that his earlier comments about having insurance if Trump throws him under the bus to escape impeachment were sarcastic and, at the same time, a warning to former Vice President Joe Bidens family.
TRUTH ALERT: The statement Ive made several times of having an insurance policy, if thrown under bus, is sarcastic & relates to the files in my safe about the Biden Familys 4 decade monetizing of his office, Giuliani tweeted. If I disappear, it will appear immediately along with my RICO chart.
On previous occasions Giuliani has seemingly intimated that he could retaliate against Trump if the president and his supporters decide to make him into a scapegoat to protect the president from impeachment. In an interview with Fox News Ed Henry on Saturday, Giuliani said that Ive seen things written like hes going to throw me under the bus. When they say that, I say he isnt, but I have insurance.
He added, This is ridiculous. We are very good friends. He knows what I did was in order to defend him, not to dig up dirt on [former Vice President Joe] Biden. This goes back a year ago, before Biden had even decided to run for president.
Nunes, who is suing a fake cow, says "I'm the last guy that wants to go into the courts."
Rep. Devin Nunes claims that CNN engaged in a criminal activity by reporting on a claim from the attorney for Lev Parnas that he went to Vienna to meet with a corrupt Ukraine official with buried in mockery on Twitter Sunday afternoon particularly in light of his comment Im the last guy that wants to go into the courts.
That statement became a focal point for commenters who are all too aware that he has sued a Twitter account posing as one of his cows.
Speaking with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday, Nunes said, And because this is criminal in nature and because its so bad, its so slanderous, weve got all the facts on our side, and were going to file in federal court because Im not going to sit here and try to compete against the media that I have no chance of winning this.
