Common struggles: Greeks for the mass movement of Bernie Sanders!

The initiative "Greeks for the mass movement of Bernie Sanders" has come to cover a gap: that of the information of the Greek public opinion for the historically important movement, created by the unprecedented popular support of the effort by Bernie Sanders to claim the nomination of the Democratic Party for the US presidential elections.

That's because the - global, not only in Greece - methodical absence of adequate and objective information concerning the mobilization of millions of American citizens on the side of Bernie Sanders, deprives from the Greek public opinion its right to shape its own opinion, without any interference, in order to realize that the struggles of the Greek people converge with those of the mass, radical movement that supports Bernie Sanders! Realize that these are common struggles!

All these, having in mind that Bernie is and was a steady supporter of the rights and struggles of the Greek people, like no other foreign politician. Not only by denouncing IMF and the other executioners of the Greek people, but also by supporting publicly people's resounding '???' (NO) in the referendum of July 2015, and its right to audit, denounce, and, refuse to pay the illegitimate and illegal public debt.

Yet, the initiative "Greeks for the mass movement of Bernie Sanders" is not restricted only to information. Its objective is to contribute to the development of a substantial solidarity to the growing mass American movement that supports Bernie Sanders, in Greece. That's because the initiative knows how much this new and radical movement desires and needs the international support from every corner of the planet, especially now that the American establishment is attacking it in full force.

However, we have the same ambition also concerning our initiative in a European level, encouraging the birth of respective initiatives in other countries, as well as, establishing the cooperation and networking among them. Therefore, it is not accidental that the Greek initiative opens a European (multilingual) Facebook page, at the same time with the corresponding Greek one, which already contains texts and information in other European languages.

Finally, the initiative "Greeks for the mass movement of Bernie Sanders", does not hide that will contribute, according to its capability, to the historically important and highly desirable evolution of the movement supporting Bernie Sanders, into a permanent, mass, radical and class movement. A movement towards the liberation of millions of workers, young people, women, as well as, Afro-Americans, Latinos and native American citizens from the bipartisanism of the Republican and the Democratic parties, which could change radically the status quo at the heart of the global imperialistic superpower and change the course of history for the benefit of all the oppressed people of the world and our endangered planet.

Further evidence towards a Dystopian, totally militarized future

A new report came to confirm of what many already suspect about a global, totally militarized future, even in the most developed countries. It appears that a booming industry of weapons to be used inside the urban centers, is exploiting the violence brought by extremists inside those centers. Terrorist attacks are also exploited by the governments to proceed in further suppression measures.

The nightmarish scenario shows that this Dystopian, totally militarized future may come quite sooner than we should probably expect. However, even more remarkable is the fact that this latest study predicts that “This market is expected to generate revenues of over USD 3.5 billion by the end of 2020.” and “Demand for such equipment is expected to rise during the next few years.”

These forecasts are perfectly aligned with the predictions of a report from 2016 Davos economic forum. As already mentioned in previous article: “The study estimates that there will be no 'widespread societal upheaval—at least up until the year 2020', due to the takeover of jobs by artificial intelligence, but is this realy a reason not to worry seriously? Think about it: 2020 is only four years from now! Say, at the end of the new US presidency.”

One more scandal in the European Parliament

Within the next 2 years, the 28 member states are obliged to adjust their legislation, so that the secrets of the corporations should be protected more efficiently, and those who will dare to publish them, should be prosecuted further. The initiative for the new legislation came from Merkel's and Schäuble's European People's Party (New Democracy belongs to the family), with the argument that more and more corporations become victims of leaks and industrial espionage.

In reality, a unified lobby of some big multinational corporations, like Intel, Alstom, Michelin, Solvay, Safran, Nestlé, General Electric, etc., have imposed their policy to the European parliament by securing the consent of Verhofstadt's (neo)liberals and the so-called (unfortunately) Socialists. Only the Greens and the European United Left opposed the legislation. All these, at the same time where 500,000 citizens have signed a paper through which the new legislation was characterized as a serious threat against the right of citizens for access to information, demanding its withdrawal.

How the results of NY Democratic primaries could determine Greece's fate

The EFD-IMF sociopaths(?) continue to play their games over the Greek ruins

We have seen another bad theatrical performance by the Brussels bureaufascists of the European Financial Dictatorship (EFD) and the IMF economic hitmen in the Greek drama. The representatives of the neoliberal Feudalism pretend that they have different positions concerning the unsolved puzzle of the Greek debt, while in reality, they do not care at all about "solving" it, but only to complete the neoliberal experiment in Greece to the last detail.

The chairman of eurozone finance ministers, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, has stated lately that “I don’t see any flexibility on the 3.5 percent [of GDP primary surplus] in 2018 because it was one of the anchors of the agreement of last summer. So that’s going to take a huge effort on the part of Greece but I think it can be done,”. (ekathimerini.com)

In other words, after six years of orchestrated destruction of the Greek economy through the IMF recipe, the Brussels bureaufascists insist on 3.5% primary surplus by a devastated economy! Either they are indeed sociopaths, or, the most probable, do not care about any surplus. They just use it to impose further cuts in pensions and salaries, further rise in taxes for the remaining middle class, to the last drop of blood of the Greek economy.

The head of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, appeared with supposedly different position stating that “The 3.5% in the short term might be achievable by some heroic, and I really mean heroic, efforts on the part of Greece and the Greek people,”. (wsj.com) And how's that really different from Dijsselbloem's paranoid demand? What would be more natural for the IMF "vampires"? Show some mercy to the Greeks, or, demand more blood from them through more “heroic, efforts”?

IMF's Poul Thomsen said that the 3.5% surplus target is not realistic, yet he ended up stating that “further tax rises would not work, but that Greece needed to broaden its tax base”(!) (reuters.com) In other words he completely confirmed what has been analyzed in previous article, that, “... some of the policies imposed by Greece's troika creditors (IMF, ECB, European Commission), were directing the tax increases towards local small-medium businesses in order to eliminate them. The target was simple: to destroy every last sign of competition in favor of the big capital.” (fa.ev/the-real-enemy-of-small-medium)

Recall that Thomsen and Delia Velculescu, head of the IMF mission to Greece, have been caught thinking the possibility of the IMF to stage a Draghi-type “credit event” that could force Greece to the edge of bankruptcy, using the pretext of the Brexit referendum, according to recent WikiLeaks revelations.

The dialogues between Thomsen and Velculescu prove only the anxiety of the IMF to finish the Greek experiment according to the timeline, that is before the end of 2016. In reality, there is no different goal with the EFD representatives. The supposed different positions between EFD and IMF concerning the debt relief, or, the level of primary surplus target, are irrelevant.

The supposedly different positions projected by the media, are aimed to disorientate the public, as always, but at the current moment they help especially the Europeans to delay the completion of the negotiations with Greece, in order to focus on the British referendum. They will bargain with the British government and mobilize the "inside mechanisms" of propaganda, in order to persuade the British people to vote against Brexit. Afterwards, they will focus on Greece, and, as has been proved, they will not hesitate to use any means, including a financial coup, to force Tsipras towards every last detail of the Greek experiment.

This also explains the anxiety of the Greek government to complete the evaluation and close the deal with the creditors, based on what has been agreed last summer, in order to terminate the Greek experiment without further catastrophic measures. A very difficult target against the IMF "vampires" and the EFD "hyenas".
