Interview: Mike Gravel (D-Pentagon Papers)- "911 was in inside job; the US is NOT a democracy"

Guest: Former US Senator Mike Gravel (D-AK), who made history by reading the then-classified Pentagon Papers into the Congressional Record, and has since become a leading voice of 9/11 truth and direct democracy.

Mike Gravel, U.S. Senator from Alaska, Democrat. Served 1969-1981.

Les Jamieson of HR14.org recently emailed me:

“Two days ago, June 13, 2016, H.RES. 779 was submitted by Walter Jones, Steven Lynch, and Thomas Massie which cites the intention to use the Speech and Debate Clause to reveal the 28 pages.

“Nearly a year ago an effort began to inform legislators about the Speech and Debate Clause in the Constitution which could be applied to revealing the 28 pages. This clause protected former Sen. Mike Gravel when he read the Pentagon Papers into the congressional record. This effort began with a legal article by whistleblower attorney, Mick Harrison, in collaboration with Barbara Honegger. Other attorneys aided with research. Mike Gravel, himself, reviewed the article. With the help of Jeff Steinberg and other legislative activists in DC, Gravel delivered the article to Walter Jones, Rand Paul, and Ron Wyden.”

In this interview Sen. Gravel discusses the 28 pages and other 9/11 issues, opining forthrightly that “9/11 was an inside job.” Sen. Gravel also discusses the anthrax component of the 9/11-anthrax false flag event; voices his suspicions about possible post-9/11 false flag terror events; explains that the US is not a democracy; mentions Obama’s fears of going the way of JFK if he took on the military-industrial complex; and even touches on the UFO issue.

Bottom line: According to Sen. Gravel, the Bernie Sanders “revolution” will accomplish nothing unless it becomes a real revolution i.e. a popular uprising demanding direct democracy: The right of citizens to enact laws, not just elect (inevitably corrupt) representatives. For details, check out the National Initiative for Democracy.

BREXIT: What We're Not Being Told About the European Union Referendum

Collective Evolution ROBITO CHATWINJUNE 22, 2016

In the EU referendum about whether or not the UK should remain in the European Union, the UK government warned that leaving the EU could mean 10 years of uncertainty as new trade deals are formed, and even a collapse of the UK economy with a year of recession.

Meanwhile, the news media and anti-EU politicians concentrated on the topic of immigration, leaving the general public in fear of increasing migrants who will drain the economy and swarm their towns (source).

This same fear mongering happened in Norway when they held a referendum in 1994 (source); yet Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland, as non-EU members within Europe, enjoy some of the highest living standards in the world.

Iceland was also the only country to put bankers in prison instead of bail them out (source) and Norway will ban the sale of all fossil fuel-based cars in the next decade (source)...

...That is the role of the European Commission, which consists of 28 commissioners — one for each member country. These people are not elected but chosen by each country’s current leader. It is these unelected commissioners who create the laws, not the leaders or MEPs we vote in.....snip

...Trade Agreements

Maybe you have heard about TTIP or CETA? These are new versions of this same trade agreement which now incorporate the USA and Canada, as corporations push harder than ever for their monopoly over governments to be enforced for the greater good...snip

Which US Government Official said "Fuck the EU" in 2014?

Why none other than Victoria Nuland, the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the United States Department of State. Victoria Nuland is the wife of PNAC Co-Founder Robert Kagan.

The European Union always was a CIA project, as Brexiteers discover

The Telegraph 27 4 2016

Brexiteers should have been prepared for the shattering intervention of the US. The European Union always was an American project.

While irritated at times, the US has relied on the EU ever since as the anchor to American regional interests alongside NATO...snip

...Nor are many aware of declassified documents from the State Department archives showing that US intelligence funded the European movement secretly for decades, and worked aggressively behind the scenes to push Britain into the project.

As this newspaper first reported when the treasure became available, one memorandum dated July 26, 1950, reveals a campaign to promote a full-fledged European parliament. It is signed by Gen William J Donovan, head of the American wartime Office of Strategic Services, precursor of the Central Inteligence Agency. ...more:

USC chemists turn greenhouse gas into hydrogen fuel

The new method generates hydrogen and stores it efficiently, and without further polluting the environment

USC News | Emily Gersema | June 17, 2016

A future with hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles and hydrogen-powered smartphones is much closer to reality.

USC researchers have found a clean method of turning greenhouse gas into hydrogen fuel, according to a study published recently in the journal Nature Communications. They believe they are the first to have developed this method.

Researchers had been stuck on a significant challenge holding up the development and commercialization of this technology: generating and storing hydrogen effectively, and without further polluting the environment.

Chemists at the USC Loker Hydrocarbon Research Institute found a way to produce hydrogen while also recycling harmful carbon dioxide through the dehydrogenation of formic acid. And, unlike prior methods, the catalyst that they developed in-house releases hydrogen without involving more pollutants.

Formic acid occurs naturally in the venom of bee and ant stings or through the decay of vegetation. It also can be made by reacting carbon dioxide with hydrogen. So it appeals to scientists as a carrier and storage reservoir for hydrogen...snip

‘Wicked problems’

Climate change is one of the “wicked problems” that researchers throughout USC — from earth sciences to biology — study and address through innovative research, testing and development...snip

Solar, wind costs could fall up to 59 percent by 2025, study says

Reuters, June 15, 2016

The average cost of electricity generated by solar and wind energy could fall by up to 59 percent by 2025 if the right policies are in place, a report by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) said on Wednesday.

Since 2009, solar photovoltaic (PV) module prices have fallen by 80 percent and wind turbine prices have fallen by around 30-40 percent as renewable energy capacity has grown to record levels and technologies have improved.

Solar and wind technologies can continue to fall in price to 2025 and beyond if governments set policies to minimize transaction costs and to streamline administrative procedures and approval processes, the report said.

IRENA estimates the global weighted average levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) of solar PV could fall by 59 percent by 2025 from 2015; the LCOE of offshore wind could fall by 35 percent and the LCOE of onshore wind by 26 percent...snip

This is Daimler's plan for future electric, hybrid and hydrogen Mercedes cars

IBTimes | Alistair Charlton | June 14, 2016

Mercedes owner Daimler has set out plans to significantly increase its production of electric, hybrid and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, and is targeting over 100,000 electric sales per year by 2020...snip

..."We will invest €14.5bn (£11.5bn) in research and development in the next two years alone − more than half of it will again be spent on green technologies. Just for our passenger cars, we are talking about €5.4bn," said Prof Dr Thomas Weber, member of the board of management of Daimler.

The German company plans to launch four new electric cars under the Mercedes brand in the near future, and the first of which will be revealed at the Paris motor show in October. Daimler also has plans to electrify its Smart range of small two- and four-seat city cars.

Several of these new vehicles − especially the larger Mercedes saloon cars − will share the same "electric vehicle architecture", a platform developed by Daimler to easily fit electric motors and an enormous battery pack to several different cars. Tesla employs a similar sharing system, by giving the Model S and Model X the same chassis, electric motors and battery...snip

Hydrogen and wind: Allies for sustainable energy

Deutsche Welle‎ | Irene Baños Ruiz | 15.6.16

Integrating hydrogen technologies and wind power could lead the way toward 100 percent renewable energy. But the path is under construction - and still requires a lot of hard work.

At wind farm close to Zaragoza – famously Spain's own windy city – the blades of giant turbines spin relentlessly. Their imposing figures towering above the landscape would have had Don Quixote shaking in his boots.

In Europe, Spain is second only to Germany in terms of installed wind power capacity. But as the supply of clean energy grows, making the best use of it remains a challenge.

Because electricity from wind and other renewable sources fluctuates with the weather – unlike the steady supply from burning fossil fuels – sudden storms can overload the grid, while at other times there might not be enough power to meet demand...snip

Germany plans to have 1,000 hydrogen filling stations and 1,800,000 fuel cell vehicles in operation by 2030. Klietz at BMW sees big things for hydrogen in the future of the German energy system.

..."It is difficult to think of a higher penetration of renewable energy - the 80 or 90 percent that should be a reality before 2050 - without energy storage systems," Jesús Simón, head of technical department at the Foundation for the Development of New Hydrogen Technologies in Aragon (FHa) told DW...snip
