Kansas Limits Welfare to Unregistered Gun Owners, Registered Republicans, Those Who Have Tap Water that Catches Fire

TOPEKA, KANSAS (The Nil Admirari): Earlier today Kansas Governor Sam Brownback signed legislation that will only grant welfare benefits from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program to unregistered gun owners, registered Republicans, and/or those who live in a region of the state where their tap water catches on fire. The move is the second stab at the poor and most vulnerable members of Kansas society in a week.

On April 16th, Brownback signed HB 2258, which solved the rampant problem of TANF recipients spending welfare money at swimming pools, lingerie stores, tattoo parlors, movie theaters, casinos, cruise ships, psychic shops, and massage parlors instead of using the funds to buy essentials like food. "I don't know how these takers can go without eating food and spend their money on luxuries like tattoos and massages, but we don't have to worry about that anymore," stated Brownback after he signed the bill. A smirk developed on his face as he continued, "This will definitely solve the problem of homelessness and child poverty being at record levels in Kansas, and pave the way for more tax breaks for the deserving job creators. I'm sure that won't worsen the massive state deficit."

"The senator will not be seen as a man who listens to the overwhelming majority of scientists over the loud, strongly held beliefs of conservative Republican primary voters," stated Rubio 2016 Spokesperson Renee Krieger, whose legs and the podium they stood behind were being lapped by gentle waves in the three foot deep pool of the first floor of Rubio 2016 Campaign Headquarters. "And what better place to do that than here in a building that sits right off beautiful Miami Beach," she continued, seemingly unnerved by the increasing water level brought about by high tide.

"Because all of this climate change nonsense is nothing more than people with facts claiming the sky is falling," continued a refreshed Rubio. He placed his now half-full glass on a nearby desk. "Except, of course, it is the ocean rising that scientists and liberals are using to fear monger and scare Americans with their unimpeachable data and outrageously accurate forecasts."

Brass Balls Time: A Question for Religious Conservatives

Is it immoral to allow American citizens to die and/or be financially ruined because they cannot afford healthcare?

I think everyone who considers themselves a liberal should ask this question daily. As an unapologetic atheist and secularist you bet your ass I find it immoral to allow American citizens to die solely because they cannot afford healthcare. Where is the religious right on this issue? Because I cannot hear them over the deafening silence.

America May Have Won World War II, But Fascism Won the War and Infected Our Country.

American Fascism is just far more clever than German Fascism. The Military Industrial Complex, Mega Corporations, Super Rich, and Intelligence Aparatus all work in unison as a secret government to keep control over our government (which is just for show to reinforce the fantasy of democracy) and us. Now we have an American Empire that serves the rich and makes war around the world under the pretense it is defending freedom, when all it is defending are corrupt assholes with too much money and a society that have crumbling infrastructure and denies its citizens rights far poorer countries extend to their citizens (health care, education, etc.).

A president without a diploma?

...Alan Flippen recently looked at recent history and noted that Walker, whether he wins or loses, would be the “first major candidate” to run for president without at least a Bachelor’s degree since then-Sen. Paul Simon (D-Ill.) in 1988.

If Walker gets the GOP nomination, he’d be the first major-party nominee to not have a college degree since then-Sen. Barry Goldwater’s (R-Ariz.) unsuccessful campaign in 1964.

And if Walker is elected to the White House, he’d be the first president without a degree since Harry Truman. (Truman is also the only president since the 19th century to serve as president without at least a Bachelor’s. Truman, of course, was elevated to the office after FDR died. The last time Americans elected a new president who didn’t have a degree? McKinley in 1896.)

Whether or not this is an important part of the campaign is largely up to voters – people will either care or they won’t...
