Alabama City cover up of a 18 yo black woman in police custody

From the web site we find the City attorney is refusing to release any information because he is concerned about the dead woman's rights.

Seems he thinks the poor woman has more rights now that she has died.

Where was the city's concerns when she asked for her rights to medical treatment?

More:

Early the next morning, Proctor was found dead in her jail cell, after having complained of problems with asthma which police apparently refused to take seriously.
Bessemer City Attorney Shan Paden commented, “I know the case. I know we had a death in the jail. Erring on a conservative side, not to protect the city but to protect the rights of an 18-year-old, the city of Bessemer will not disclose any information.”

White people riot and destroy property because

their sports team won some sporting event.

Black people riot because the system is geared to target and oppress them as second class citizens.

The same system that is being touted by the governor and Mayor as the best solution to find answers in Mr Greys death at the hands of his oppressors.

It didn't work before:

Over the past four years, more than 100 people have won court judgments or settlements related to allegations of brutality and civil rights violations. Victims include a 15-year-old boy riding a dirt bike, a 26-year-old pregnant accountant who had witnessed a beating, a 50-year-old woman selling church raffle tickets, a 65-year-old church deacon rolling a cigarette and an 87-year-old grandmother aiding her wounded grandson ....

And in almost every case, prosecutors or judges dismissed the charges against the victims—if charges were filed at all. In an incident that drew headlines recently, charges against a South Baltimore man were dropped after a video showed an officer repeatedly punching him—a beating that led the police commissioner to say he was “shocked.”

FBI convicted a man on hair analysis. One of the hairs was dog hair.

But the FBI did the best they could, I'm sure.

The innocent black man served 28 years before a lab discovered the FBI analysis was "flawed."

DA Says New Information Warrants Further Investigation of Tulsa Co Sheriff's Office

The corrupt Sheriff is bought and paid for by Robert Gates with no apology ever.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler is calling for further investigation into the Sheriff's office.
Kunzweiler says he received new information about actions at the Sheriff's office beyond the manslaughter case against reserve deputy Robert Bates.
"I am highly concerned about recent allegations that have surfaced and I have been in contact with independent law enforcement agencies regarding further investigation into these matters,” Kunzweiler said. “To protect the integrity of these investigations, I will not give details or comment further on any investigation that is underway."
Bates is charged in the shooting death of Eric Harris earlier this month.
Tulsa, OK "reserve deputy" Robert Bates equipped personal vehicle with lights, and radio
One has to wonder if he was conducting himself as a Sheriff Deputy while not under supervision?
And he did so 3 months after becoming the lowest rating (basic) for areserve officer. This was against all poilcies at the Sheriff department.
A memo also says that he was short with his required training in 2012.
There are demands that Sheriff Glanz should resign.
NY refuses to release man who filmed Eric Garner even tho he has bail money
They say that the source of the money needs to be investigated to see if the source of the money is permissible. Bail was raised by a crowd source website.
WTF. Welcome to the full blown police state.
There is also a video at the site.
The story here:
New York, NY — Three days ago, Ramsey Orta, the man who filmed the NYPD killing of Eric Garner was beginning to lose hope as he sat behind bars at Rikers prison in New York.
As a high profile police accountability activist, Orta feared for his life while in police custody, and those fears were confirmed when fellow inmates at Rikers began falling ill because their food was laced with rat poison. To protect himself from similar attacks, Orta has been refusing to eat.
However, after a push from The Free Thought Project, Ramsey Orta was given new-found hope. Orta’s story went viral and was shared tens of thousands of times on social media. The resultant virility has raised just over $40,000 as of Thursday.
On Thursday afternoon Orta posted bond. However, smashing all of this recent hope, officials are still refusing to release him.
According to PIX 11,
The Staten Island district attorney, Dan Donovan, demanded a hearing to determine if the SOURCE of the bail money is permissible. That’s in spite of the fact that most of the donors, from around the country, have given their names. And District Attorney Dan Donovan happens to be running for Congress in the special election for the district made up of Staten Island and parts of Brooklyn four weeks from now.
This politically ambitious DA is single-handedly denying the due process of Ramsey Orta. To make matters worse, there is no judge currently available to hear this ad hoc hearing demanded by Donovan. It won’t take place until Monday, at the earliest, despite Orta already posting bail.
The Free Thought Project contacted the DA’s office and asked if it’s normal for them not to accept crowd-sourced bail. They claimed to have “no idea and can’t comment on on-going cases.” They then directed us to their public relations department.
