(CNN) -- A newly released video shows the now-wife of NFL player Ray Rice lovingly nuzzling him shortly after he knocked her out cold at a casino in New Jersey.
The video obtained by ABC News shows the couple in handcuffs immediately after the February elevator fight in which the former Baltimore Ravens player punched his then-fiancee, Janay, in Atlantic City.
In the footage, both are separated in a lobby by authorities.
Law enforcement officials later lead them into an elevator, where they try to embrace despite their handcuffs.

Xi Jinping defends 'one-China' principle during Macau visit
Source: BBC News

Chinese President Xi Jinping is visiting Macau to mark the 15th anniversary of the former Portuguese colony's return to China.
He urged people in the territory to respect the "one-China" principle.
Like neighbouring Hong Kong, Macau is a special autonomous region and has experienced protests by pro-democracy activists this year.
Correspondents say officials in Beijing do not want the territories to become hotbeds of dissent.
"We must both adhere to the 'one China' principle and respect the difference of the two systems," Mr Xi said at the inauguration of Macau's Chief Executive Fernando Chui.

There's a brief video accompanying the article, but it really doesn't add anything, so I didn't bother seeking it out on YouTube.

WHO says 1 million people have been wounded in Syria's civil war

One million people have been wounded during Syria's civil war and diseases are spreading as regular supplies of medicine fail to reach patients, the World Health Organization's Syria representative said.
A plunge in vaccination rates from 90 percent before the war to 52 percent this year and contaminated water have added to the woes, allowing typhoid and hepatitis to advance, Elizabeth Hoff said in an interview late on Thursday.
More than 200,000 people have been killed in Syria's conflict, which began in March 2011 with popular protests against President Bashar al-Assad and spiraled into civil war after a crackdown by his security forces.
"In Syria, they have a million people injured as a direct result of the war. You can see it in the country when you travel around. You see a lot of amputees," said Hoff. "This is the biggest problem."

Challenge III: Your Weirdest Internet Habit (NO PORN, PLEASE)
Sorry for missing last Monday, but I was on probation for having been a bad boy, or, as one juror on a thread of mine unanimously hidden put it, "A vile, disgusting excuse for a human being who should be locked away---or better yet, shot!---for the good of all humanity." Now, putting that unpleasentless behind us, let's get down to the task at hand, shall we?
This is going to sound arrogant, but I don't see anyone topping the weirdness of my habit. Here it is:
When I'm in the process of copying and pasting, and I've "blued" that which I want to paste, I cannot leave that page---even after the pasting is done---until I have "freed" the copied text from its blue shackles, being sure to click on the original page or link until the blueness surrounding it is gone, and it's previous, pure appearance is restored. On the occasions when I have left the copied page after forgetting to do this, I feel as though I've consigned the unliberated text, link, or video to a kind of Cyber Hell.
I don't think there's any way you can beat that, but you're more than welcome to try!
Poll: Americans skeptical of commercial drones

WASHINGTON (AP) Americans broadly back tight regulations on commercial drone operators, according to a new Associated Press-GfK poll, as concerns about privacy and safety override the potential benefits of the heralded drone revolution.
The FAA is expected to propose restricting drones weighing less than 55 pounds to flights under 400 feet high, forbid nighttime flights, and require drones be kept within sight of their operators.
It also may require drone operators to get pilot's licenses, which would be controversial. Critics say the skills needed to fly a manned aircraft are different from those needed to operate a drone. But 64 percent support requiring the pilot's licenses, according to the poll, with more in favor of limiting drone flight altitude and requiring them to be kept within eyesight.
Eddy Dufault, 58, a machinist and part-time wildlife photographer in Marlborough, Massachusetts, who is considering buying a drone, said he agrees with most of the restrictions, but opposes licensing. It can cost would-be pilots $15,000 for the needed flight training and practice flights, he said, adding it would be more appropriate to require operators to attend a few classes and pass a drone flight test.
It may be two or three years before the rules take effect, but once they do thousands are expected to buzz U.S. skies. With a few narrow exceptions, the Federal Aviation Administration currently prohibits commercial use of drones.

Vladimir Putin invites Kim Jong-un to Moscow
Source: The Guardian
Friday 19 December 2014 09.11 EST
The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, has invited the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, to Moscow next year to mark the 70th anniversary of the Soviet defeat of Nazi Germany in the second world war, the Kremlins spokesman said on Friday.
It would be Kims first foreign visit since taking the helm of the reclusive east Asian state in 2011. His personal envoy travelled to Moscow last month as part of efforts by the two Cold War-era allies to improve relations.
Yes, such an invitation was sent, a Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, told the state news agency, Tass. Russia marks the former Soviet Unions 1945 victory every year on 9 May.
Moscow needs North Korean cooperation to boost its natural gas exports to South Korea as Gazprom would like to build a gas pipeline through North Korea to reach its southern neighbour.
