The CEO of KB Home, one of the largest homebuilders in the country, recently screamed sexist and homophobic slurs and profanities at his neighbor, comedian Kathy Griffin ― calling her a “bald dyke” and a “cunt” after she and her boyfriend called Los Angeles police to report an hours-long noise disturbance, according to security camera audio obtained by HuffPost.
Jeffrey Mezger has been CEO and chairman of KB Home, a publicly traded company, since 2006, and has worked there since 1993, according to his official biography. Mezger and his wife, Sandra, live in a gated community next to Griffin and her longtime boyfriend, Randy Bick.

There's a jackass standing in front of them!
Seriously. I'm a tile man, stone Mason. Not a fan of green marble anyway (it's alive, you know?), but they should have laid it so the patter is continuos (bookmarking in the parlance). Just a horrible job, pisses me off every time I see it. I can figure out the pattern and see that it could be marked. If it couldn't, they shouldn't have used such a heavily veined marble, used a slab or planned to bookmark it by marking it at the quarry. (Smaller jobs like this on usually don't require this to be able to create a more singular piece).

Where is it going specifically? To serve what purpose?
The 45 million raised last night, while impressive, will only buy 40 miles of roads. Will cover the overtime the electrical workers (20,000) will be paid. For about a month. Will pay for ONE bridge.
What about the uninsured?

Saw the new Seth McFarland show, the Orville last night. Liked it, a lot. Good parody of space movies. Funny, exciting and the aliens looked great.

So many to choose from. Shelter in place. Hunker down. Praying for (insert city, state etc). Storm surge (great band name). Don't try this, they are professionals.
Got a favorite?

I'm in CA, but I kind of feel the need to close up shop, grab my furry fuckers, and just shut it down.

From Facebook.
And if you must evacuate with your pets there is this:
IMPORTANT!!
Rec'd this info this morning:
If you are evacuating to a hotel/motel and they say they DONT accept pets, dont get ugly but simply tell them thats against the law & Fema established that after hurricane Katrina!
The Pets Evacuation and Transportation Standards Act (PETS) was a bi-partisan initiative in the United States House of Representatives to require states seeking Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance to accommodate pets and service animals in their plans for evacuating residents facing disasters.
They have to accept pets during a state of emergency. Now you don't have to leave them behind or go to a pet-friendly shelter.
