But it wasn't just Grunge and Alternative (BTW, the Smashing Pumpkins aren't grunge IMHO.) there were also very tasty melodies available.
And in my opinion the toughest group with the hardest jams - Public Enemy
In my mind THIS is the best music from the 90s
90s - It had better music than folks give it credit for
The Pumpkins for example
