My wife became a citizen yesterday

In a lovely ceremony in a local Junior High Gymnasium.

32 people from 20 countries from Japan to Cote De Ivoire, South Africa to Venezuela became our newest Americans, it was pretty moving TBH

High lights included an A1C from South Korea say "I came to love America as an exchange student, and today i swore my second oath, my first was my enlistment"

And I was tickled when my wife told the crowd that she can't wait to vote this November.

This is a cool cover of an old Buck Owens song

Patsy Cline was great of course.

But, I am partial to Buck's version since I heard his version first as a kid - And holy hell the Buckaroos were a monster group of musicians

Billy expanding his play list

I've listened to this 3 times straight and haven't quite decided how I feel about it.

It reminds me of some of Neil Young's more orchestrated songs from the late 70s... Of note, Billy Strings on an electric guitar!

That alone is worth a listen for sure

On of the things that jump out at me

With this band is it's willingness to share the shine

I especially appreciate the juxtaposition of upper register female Blue grass vocals with the unapologetic black baritone of the MCs.

If this was just a punkbilly collective with a drum machine I'd hate it.

But both of the MCs in this joint just kill it
