Bernie’s Army Is Running for Congress

Bernie Sanders’s political revolution is predicated in part on mobilizing the public to change the direction of the country. Naysayers carp, and not without reason, that this is impossible, with Republicans having a lock on the gerrymandered Congress for the near future. But to change that state of affairs, you need Sanders Democrats—progressive leaders willing to compete for marginal seats and battle from inside the Capitol Building.

The army is out there. This past week, I interviewed three candidates for Congress, all running in seats currently held by Republicans, who have endorsed Bernie Sanders. They may not all win—some might not even represent the Democrats in the general election—but they exemplify a new energy in the party, expressing pride in liberal ideas instead of fleeing from them, ready to work the levers of the system to achieve progress wherever possible. The greatest gift Sanders—the longtime independent—has given to the Democratic Party is to inspire a progressive revolution from within.

May I suggest Bernie2016 TV? They are showing lines at caucus site.

I tried to watch MSNBC, CNN etc. I couldn't tell what was really happening.
I go to Bernie 2016 TV and they are showing lines. 800 + people showing up
at one place. They only expected 200. They are sending them to the parking lot!
I think you will get the information you are craving. MSM not so much!

George Soros donates $8 million to boost Hillary

George Soros in December donated $6 million to the leading super PAC supporting Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, marking the return of the billionaire financier as among the biggest givers in all of American politics.

The massive check brings to $8 million the Hungarian-born investor's total 2015 giving to pro-Clinton groups.

The super PAC that received the $6-million check, Priorities USA Action, raised $25 million in the second half of 2015, according to a report it filed Sunday evening with the Federal Election Commission. The haul brings the PAC’s tally to $41 million for the year, and left it with a strong $36 million in the bank headed into the year.
