Can we pause the Bernie-Hillary wars for a moment? Major Carbon Monoxide Explosion West Coast

Breaking news. No one at this point seems to know what is going on but early thoughts suggest a major earthquake may occur at any time. I have to dash to work shortly, and hopefully a new story will be written by some of the brilliant scientific minds on Daily Kos that will provide updates and analysis. Why isn’t the mainstream media all over this story? Thank God for the green roots for breaking this story.

Analysis A threat ahead: California Democrats losing the fight for younger voters

The state Democratic Party convention held here over the weekend presented an occasionally jarring contrast: Democrats gathered at what seemed like a 50th college reunion for veteran politicians, and at the same time one of the biggest rounds of applause came at the mention of Bernie Sanders, the presidential candidate few of those politicians support.

Eric Swalwell, 35, the East Bay congressman who organized the panel, said the strong support for Sanders in the presidential contest was a warning to the party’s older establishment.

“Regardless of whether you’re with Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton, there’s no question that right how Bernie Sanders has the overwhelming majority of the millennials,” said Swalwell, who endorsed Clinton after his first choice, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, dropped out. “Whoever is the candidate, as a party we have to understand why that is the case.”

Why that’s the case is the candidates themselves. To young voters for whom she has been a life-long presence, Clinton looks like a captive of establishment politics. Sanders, with his call to “political revolution,” is the blunt-speaking fresh face.

First Super Tuesday results: Americans in New Zealand make their voice heard

First Super Tuesday results:
Sanders 21 - Clinton 6

Americans in New Zealand first to vote in what could be the turning point of the U.S. Primary elections
U.S. Democrats living in the capital of New Zealand have made their voice heard in the first Super Tuesday primary voting to take place around the world.
Kat Allikian, Chair of Democrats Abroad New Zealand, said, "Tonight’s opportunity for U.S. Democrats living in New Zealand to cast the first votes on Super Tuesday was a great success. Our turnout was small, but like our fellow Americans in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, we’ve made our voices heard about the issues that matter to us."

New Zealand is the first of 39 countries where Democrats Abroad will host in-person voting between March 1-8; voting sites will be open in 22 countries on Super Tuesday alone, and in 104 cities throughout the week.

Voting took place at the Public Bar and Eatery in Wellington at midnight local time, with the announcement made at 12:30 AM Wellington time.
Results from Democrats Abroad's Global Presidential Primary site in Wellington, for midnight, March 1, are as follows:

Total ballots cast: 28

Bernie Sanders: 21

Hillary Clinton: 6

How about a thank you to the 96,000 that did show up,

knowing it would be a blowout, and preventing it from being an even bigger one.
You guys are true revolutionaries and are not to be forgotten.
