-A growing number of party activists, from New Hampshire to Iowa, are voicing concern about the Democratic National Committees plan to hold six debates over all, with only four coming before the first four states finish voting. The party fears a lower number will of debates will diminish its ability to drive the discussion as the Republican contest, led by Donald J. Trump, dominates the news, and that a flabby process will leave the ultimate nominee unprepared for the general election.
-Still, during the spring of negotiations between the party committee and the campaigns, the Clinton campaign had pushed for a lower number on the debate spectrum, while Mr. OMalleys campaign had called for many more.
-Im very supportive of the more the merrier in terms of debate, said State Senator Lou DAllesandro of New Hampshire, a Clinton supporter. Its a stage thats ready-made for her. Why limit anything in this business? Thats not the American way.

-The Democratic National Committee (DNC) chief is under fire from some of the top Democratic presidential hopefuls over her handling of the primary debates, and she's facing a huge decision over whether to support President Obama's historic nuclear deal with Iran.
-The Democratic underdogs notably Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley wasted no time hammering the schedule as insufficient. The contenders want more opportunities to face off with front-runner Hillary Clinton, and their criticisms have only escalated this month after the DNC released more details surrounding the debates.
