If you had the opportunity to travel back in time and thwart the assassination of JFK, would you do it? That is exactly the concept behind the Stephen King novel "11/22/63". I am, admittedly, a huge fan of King's body of work but this is one of my favorites. If you're looking for a page turner this holiday weekend, I'd recommend checking out this novel.

VFW, American Legion, both or neither?

Curious if any of you are members of the VFW or AL. I'm eligible for both organizations and, as I get a bit older, I think it might be nice to be in a group of veterans and contribute to veterans issues. That being said, I'm not interested in hanging with a bunch of MAGAts either. Any thoughts?

7 officers placed on admin assignment as investigation into leak of Covenant School shooter's writings continues

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Metro Nashville police confirm seven officers have been placed on administrative assignment, as the department continues its active investigation into who leaked three pages from The Covenant School shooter’s writings.

As WSMV4 Investigates continued to dig into the leak, investigative reporter Stacey Cameron received information that multiple officers had been placed on leave this week in connection with the department’s investigation into the source of the leak.

If these officers are involved in the leak, despite what the tone of the statement from Nashville PD suggests, every single one of them should be fired immediately
