NY Daily News : GUN OF A BITCH! America's punk auctions off weapon he used to kill Trayvon Martin.

FOR SALE: One 9-mm pistol — and whatever’s left of George Zimmerman’s bankrupt soul.

The Florida neighborhood watchman who fatally shot unarmed teen Trayvon Martin in 2012 is putting the killer handgun up for auction — and hoping to fetch at least $5,000.

“I am honored and humbled to announce the sale of an American Firearm Icon,” Zimmerman wrote in his online description of the weapon. The perverted auction opens for bids at 11 a.m. Thursday.

“The firearm for sale is the firearm that was used to defend my life and end the brutal attack from Trayvon Martin on 2/26/2012 ... Many have expressed interest in owning and displaying the firearm including The Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C. This is a piece of American History,” Zimmerman wrote, a claim that was later refuted by the museum.

The brutal death of 17-year-old Trayvon inside a gated community in Sanford, Fla., sparked intense rallies across the country and helped launch a national protest movement around law enforcement deaths of black men and boys.

Bernie supporters, we must keep fighting. Even when the odds don't seem to be in our favor, we must keep fighting. The future of this nation and the world, depend on it. I felt the need to post this due to the more and more polls coming out showing Trump closing in on Clinton. Hate to say "I told you so." But it seems our worst fears are coming true. Without Bernie Sanders, the country may have to live through a Trump presidency. Keep fighting, Sandernistas! We will never give up!

Middle Class Shrinks In 9 out of 10 Cities in the US as incomes fall.

In cities across America, the middle class is hollowing out. A widening wealth gap is moving more households into either higher- or lower-income groups in major metro areas, with fewer remaining in the middle, according to a report released Wednesday by the Pew Research Center.

In nearly one-quarter of metro areas, middle-class adults no longer make up a majority, the Pew analysis found. That's up from fewer than 10 percent of metro areas in 2000.

That sharp shift reflects a broader erosion that occurred from 2000 through 2014. Over that time, the middle class shrank in nine of every 10 metro areas, Pew found.

The squeezing of the middle class has animated this year's presidential campaign, lifting the insurgent candidacies of Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. Many experts warn that widening income inequality may slow economic growth and make social mobility more difficult. Research has found that compared with children in more economically mixed communities, children raised in predominantly lower-income neighborhoods are less likely to reach the middle class.
