Field (any other candidate) Now Favored Over Trump to Get Nomination

Upon checking out some Betting Markets this morning, The Field is now favored to win the Republican Nomination.

Why is this important? I think it is because of the complete dismissal of Independents by supporters of Hillary Clinton. When they get to Cleveland and on the second ballot nominate a Paul Ryan for instance, what now?

Team Clinton has relied on a few "certainties": 1) Bernie will be done quickly. That was obviously false. 2) Trump will be the nominee and he will be easy to beat because everyone hates him.

Now what? When we are up against someone like Ryan or Kasich in the General, won't we need Independents to win?

Isn't winning the GE what is of dire importance?

Forget Bernie or Bust. The "Democrats Only" method is a surefire loser as well.

Clinton Campaign- Bernie Sanders Doesn't Tip 20% at Restaurants

Get prepared. Anything and everything ridiculous will be on the table. If I actually saw that headline I would not be surprised.

I told my mother this morning that Clinton would now be "taking the gloves off". She laughed loudly and said, "Well, what has she been doing so far then?" Exactly. A negative Brock-ian campaign that only will get worse.

Our job is to keep engaging with voters and keep spreading the message. NY is 13 days away. 5-10 calls per day gets us in touch with far more voters. We need this one.

But be prepared for the worst. Especially from our own DUers

The Gun Immunity Issue

I am sorry if I clash with some of my fellow Berners here. But I am absolutely tired of this coming back in Bernie's face.

It is common sense. Gun manufacturers and stores that sell guns are doing so legally. They sell them to people who have legally obtained that right. Then they never see that consumer again. They are now responsible for everything that happens with that gun?

If they hunted with it, could animal rights groups sue the manufacturer or store owner? Of course not.

Sandy Hook, et. al. are examples of the worst tragedies imaginable. They were not perpetrated by the person who assembled that gun. People will say that it's the NRA's position, but it sounds more to me that it's the position of individual liberty.

What is next? If I killed someone with a hammer, can the victim sue the hardware store I bought it at? Are knife manufacturers in grave danger?

It's a delicate issue, no question. But I strongly feel our guy is on the right side of it.

How about we turn our attention to tightening up on who can purchase guns and also addressing the mental health aspect of all of this. That would be a more productive start.

When it was Mentioned that Secretary Clinton hasn't driven a car since 1996...

The Hillarians came out in full force on the defense

http://www.democraticunderground.com/12511330353

So it strikes me as a tad hypocritical that "Subway-Gate" is even being mentioned by some of those same supporters.

It's petty and pathetic. Some of you win poorly and you lose even worse.

You love to remind us there is no chance for Bernie to win. If that were the case, you wouldn't be so insecure on this board.

Congrats on a great win for the Sanders campaign, supporters and the tireless volunteers in Wisconsin

It Begins Today

Yes, we are on a bit of a streak, this is true.

But the road to the nomination begins today. A convincing win (or just a win in general) and the upcoming blowout in Wyoming will set the stage for the upcoming battle to June.

We have the media's attention. The NY media is hammering Hillary every day, including on her fake support of $15 min wage. A win in a valuable state like Wisconsin will start the domino effect.

All of those #math and #feelthemath posts? Use the delegate calculator and see what happens when he wins race after race starting today. Other than Maryland, we stand a solid chance to NEVER. LOSE. AGAIN. Probable? eh.. Doable? Certainly.

But it starts today. And like everything else in this campaign, it starts with US.

What will you do to get us to the convention with the lead? Because if we do, we are taking our movement to the White House.

Don't let any person break your confidence on this, because that's their goal. Get excited people. It Begins Today.

Woke up. Got coffee. Saw it was attack Bernie day.

Don't get me wrong. Our side gives it back just as good. It's always humorous to me to see when Bernie has a shred of momentum, the front page is peppered with attack pieces.

Today he is a liar. That's the big one. Bernie tells big lies and is a bad man.

Re: the Fossil Fuel industry, I haven't' seen the campaign say one phrase that is not true. Not one. Spare me the 3 Pinocchios. If you want to say Greenpeace lied, go for it.

You know what lies look like?

They look like this:

You want to cry foul about lies right now? Your guy Brock has pulled out almost every stop so far to trip up Sanders (I say almost because he hasn't called Jane Sanders, Nina Turner or Tulsi Gabbard a slut yet) and his words are posted here day after day from BNR.

The woe is me victims cry RW smears!!! Yet you prop them up daily by citing this man's drivel.

Spare me about the lies. It's god damn politics. Your side invented this shit. And instead of backing down (like for instance the numerous women Hillary Clinton shamed for daring to accuse Bill Clinton of misconduct), the Sanders campaign is fighting fire with fire.

Good for them.

On Wisconsin... And it won't be close

Good News re: NY

Yesterday's odds

New York Primary - Democrat Winner
Tue 4/19 551 Hillary Clinton wins New York Primary -1285
552 Field wins New York Primary +585

Today's odds

New York Primary - Democrat Winner
Tue 4/19 551 Hillary Clinton wins New York Primary -315
552 Field wins New York Primary +235

For context, yesterday Bernie was almost a 6 to 1 underdog ($100 bet would have won $585). Today that same bet only wins $235.
Yesterday, you would have needed to put $1285 up just to win $100. Today it's $315 to win $100. That's a massive drop.

Either big money is coming in on Bernie or they have shifted the odds based on how the race is unfolding.

He is also a huge favorite in Wisconsin and Wyoming and a decent favorite in my state of RI.

PA and CT would immediately shift after a NY win.

Good news all around.

Who knew Time Magazine was a RW smear rag?

They buried their heads in the sand for months. This is real.

I want to win fair and square, but if she committed a crime, it looks like she actually may be held responsible
