Packers reportedly trading Davante Adams to the Raiders

Aaron Rodgers about to lose his most trusted receiver and one of the league's best. Because Aaron Rodgers gobbled up so much money with his contract extension that there wasn't enough left over to keep Adams happy.

The Green Bay Packers are trading Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders for two 2022 draft picks, including the Raiders' first-round pick (No. 22 overall), league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Thursday night.

The Raiders are giving Adams a five-year contract, sources told Schefter.

The Packers were willing to match what the Raiders are giving Adams in his new deal, but Adams preferred to play elsewhere, a source told ESPN's Rob Demovsky. The Packers had used the franchise tag on Adams earlier this month.

Earlier this week, quarterback Aaron Rodgers signed an extension with the Packers, in a deal that is essentially for three years and $150 million. Rodgers was aware of the developments with Adams as they unfolded in recent days, sources told Schefter.

Keith Richards, 78, says he's fitter than ever after quitting smoking

Will he truly live forever???

Keith Richards has revealed that he's feeling fitter than ever after quitting smoking two years ago.

The musician, 78 - who is preparing for the Rolling Stones 60th anniversary tour - had been a smoker for a whopping 55 years but quit before last year's US tour.

Keith has now told how during rehearsals for the shows he felt like he had 'more air in his lungs and voice' after giving up the unhealthy habit.

Koch Industries continues to do business in Russia

Evil brothers in arms, literally.

Koch Industries, the conglomerate run by right-wing billionaire Charles Koch, has numerous ongoing business operations in Russia. Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Koch Industries has given no indications that those business operations have been suspended. On the contrary, the limited public comments made by Koch subsidiaries operating in Russia indicate that their business activities have continued.

Guardian Industries, for example, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Koch Industries, acquired in 2017. Guardian, a manufacturer of industrial glass and other products, is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan but has production facilities around the world.

Guardian has two glass production plants that operate in Russia. One facility is in Ryazan, Russia, about 120 miles southeast of Moscow. The company added "a new jumbo laminated glass production line" to that facility in August 2021. Another facility is located in Rostov, Russia, near the border with Ukraine. The Rostov plant, which began operations about a decade ago, cost $220 million to build and produces "Guardian’s high-performance, energy-efficient ClimaGuard(R) (residential) and SunGuard(R) (commercial) glass products for construction of homes, offices, retail, health-care and other facilities." It is capable of producing "900 tons of glass per day."
