The President can fire the FBI director if he wants to

In a 2014 report titled "FBI Director: Appointment and Tenure", the Congressional Research Service noted:

"There are no statutory conditions on the President’s authority to remove the FBI Director."

FBI Director James B. Comey under fire for his controversial decision on the Clinton email inquiry

Source: Washington Post

This time the loudest criticism has come from Clinton and her supporters, who said Friday that Comey had provided too little information about the nature of the new line of investigation and allowed Republicans to seize political ground as a result. The inquiry focuses on Clinton emails found on a computer used by former congressman Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.), now under investigation for sending sexually explicit messages to a minor, and top Clinton aide Huma Abedin, who is Weiner’s wife. The couple have since separated.

“It is extraordinary that we would see something like this just 11 days out from a presidential election,” John Podesta, the chairman of Clinton’s presidential campaign, said in a statement. “The Director owes it to the American people to immediately provide the full details of what he is now examining. We are confident this will not produce any conclusions different from the one the FBI reached in July.”

Officials familiar with Comey’s thinking said the director on Thursday faced a quandary over how to proceed once the emails, which number more than 1,000 and may duplicate some of those already reviewed, were brought to his attention.

Comey had just been briefed by a team of investigators who were seeking access to the emails. The director knew he had to move quickly because the information could leak out.

CNN is trying hard to get Trump elected

Fox News propaganda is not as dangerous as the behavior of CNN right now.

Fox's rightful reputation as an arm of the GOP is common knowledge, and therefore many moderates and many independents dismiss it as garbage.

but look at the anti-Clinton alarmism on its website. People tend to believe that CNN is some sort of moderate unbiased outlet, and thus put a lot of weight on what they read our listens from them.

CNN will bear great responsibility fur Trump's rise to power if he is elected.

If Hillary wins her first move should be to fire Comey

Progressives can be great at law enforcement.
And Comey is a charlatan right winger.

Why did Obama appoint a Republican as head of the FBI?

What was he thinking?

H. A. Goodman has a new job

H.A. Goodman has a new job in the Daily Caller. His column today is titled "Clinton’s FBI Email Probe Was Almost Certainly A Cover-Up"

The Daily Caller is an American news and opinion website based in Washington, D.C.. It was founded by Tucker Carlson, a libertarian conservative[2][3] political pundit, and Neil Patel, former adviser to former Vice President Dick Cheney. The site's sections includes politics, business, world news, entertainment, sports, education, technology, outdoors, and energy.

Goodman immediately wrote a column claiming that the FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton was a "cover-up"

Hillary whooping butt in Vermont

I have seen deplorables state that because Vermont is Bernie Sanders' state and Bernie supporters (allegedly) are mad at Hillary, then it follows that she might lose there. A new poll today shows that this was wishful thinking and bullshit:

VERMONT
President:
Clinton (D) 50%
Trump (R) 22%
Johnson (L) 7%
Stein (G) 5%
(WCAX/Braun Research, LV, 10/19-22)

BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Vermonters strongly favor Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump in the presidential race, but nearly a quarter of voters plan to cast their ballots for someone else.

A new WCAX news poll shows the Democrat Clinton has support from 50 percent of respondents. Republican Donald Trump gets just 22 percent.

Some voters don't like either choice and 7 percent say they'll back Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, 5 percent favor the Green Party's Jill Stein and 10 percent say they plan to vote for someone else altogether.

Among those "other" candidates is Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. He won 85 percent of the vote in Vermont's Democratic primary and some voters wish he was on the November ballot

I predict a polling error worse than Brexit on November 8th

Due to the significant number of crappy pollsters, Republican pollsters, and lack of money to call a sufficient number of cell phones, I predict the polling industry will continue to fail, worse than they did in Brexit. I expect Clinton 's lead to be highly understated by the final polls.

Florida Atlantic University Poll: Clinton +3 in FL

This is the third poll of Florida today, and the second to show Clinton ahead by 3%.
Conducted October 21-23.
