Alsobrooks gets 90 percent of the popular vote in her home county Prince Georges and 40 percent of the popular vote in the other counties.

The Democratic candidates for the 2024 MD US Senate Election if Cardin retires will be:

Alsobrooks,Sarbanes,and Trone.
Raskin is not going to run because of the cancer and is likely to become chairman of the US House Oversight and Reform committee if and when the Democrats regain control of the US House of Representatives.

Between Alsobrooks,Sarbanes,and Trone, Trone has a lot of money and represents a US House District with Republican Counties. Sarbanes has high name recognition and represents a US House District based in the Greater Baltimore Metro Area. Alsobrooks is a Countywide Elected Official of the 2nd most populated county in MD(Prince George’s County).
Alsobrooks will get endorsements from Wes Moore,Aruna Miller,Anthony Brown,Brooke Lierman,and Glenn Ivey. Sarbanes will get endorsements from Dutch Ruppersberger and Kweisi Mfume. Cardin,Van Hollen,Hoyer, and Raskin will remain neutral.

Alsobrooks will carry Charles County,Montgomery County,Prince George’s County and Baltimore City.
Sarbanes will carry Anne Arundel County,Baltimore County,Howard County,and Harford County.
Trone will carry Frederick County,Carroll County,and Washington County.

Alsobrooks will be the Democratic nominee for the 2024 MD US Senate Election if Cardin retires.

Alsobrooks will be the first black female US Senator from MD.
In 2022, MD elected the first black male Governor(Wes Moore),first Asian(Indian) female Lt Governor(Aruna Miller), first black male Attorney General(Anthony Brown) and first white female Comptroller(Brooke Lierman). Alsobrooks endorsed all 4 of those candidates in the Democratic primary.
Alsobrooks is running against 3 60 something year old white male who are currently serving in the US House of Representatives. Raskin,Sarbanes,and Trone.

Alsobrooks will carry Baltimore City,Charles,and Prince George’s.
Trone will carry Western MD, Frederick, and Carroll.
Sarbanes will carry Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Howard.
Raskin will carry Montgomery.

Angela Alsobrooks is a single black mother who got her Bachelors degree at Duke University and Law Degree at University of Maryland while John Sarbanes and Jamie Raskin are white males who attended Harvard University. Raskin got his Bachelors and Law Degree at Harvard and Sarbanes got his Bachelors Degree at Princeton University and Law Degree at Harvard.
