One thing of note: Manchin from W. VA. is full of shit. His voters will be hurt most by current GOP proposal to repeal and replace the ACA. He wants Dems to not act as the GOP did...wants cooperation.
Also of note, FEMA will be taking a budget cut in order to help fund the 45 WALL with Mexico. With all the natural disasters facing citizens in red states and elsewhere, I think they need to talk about this at whatever Town Halls are being held. We know natural disasters affect many more people than not having the damn wall.
Democrats need to call Town Halls everywhere that the GOP has appeared and INFORM the voters
of what is really going on. Encourage them to turn off Rush and FOX and view CNN and MSNBC (Rachel) if they really want to know what is going on. Explain Bannon's stated purpose in his own words, explain the circumstantial evidence on Trump/Russian link and his administration. Explain what is really happening with the ACA. And then tell them what they need to do about it.
It's obvious that "poor lives" do not matter to the GOP. It's not even about black vs white.
It's about the wealthy vs the poor. Repealing the ACA and sunsetting the Medicaid expansion in 2017 will hurt many more whites than black. Many more 45 supporters than Democrats.
They keep pressing the lie that the ACA was passed without any outside input. It's a blatant lie that needs to be challenged every time it is spewed out.
The next thing that law-makers need to address and honestly discuss with the voters is the role that greedy insurance companies play in helping to destroy the ACA. Angry because they could not merge into a mega company, is the reason for health insurers pulling out. Not because they lost money but because they lost the power to become a monopoly and charge even more money.
Insurance rates were increasing much faster before the ACA and not many middle-class or rich were complaining...and the poor just didn't have insurance. Now all of a sudden the increases in medical costs are unbearable. Even though a doubling of ACA rates are still less than the increased insurance premiums that folks would have paid under private insurance. The Democrats just to no know how to sell themselves or their vision. I hear 5:1 how bad the ACA is and how it in imploding vs what the ACA has done positively and how it is not imploding but will if the GOP stops all the things that contribute to making it afforadable.. I see commercials about how bad the ACA is but non about how good it has been for many.
Is it possible that Pence may go down before 45? His lies are catching up with him.
Makes me think there is much more in his closet.

I can name at least 7 people, including 45 himself who should be, if not in jail, at least on trial for espionage or treason charges and an assortment of felonies.
How is it the Flynn is allowed to file lobbying papers retroactively? Half of 45 cabinet were guilty of felonies before their appointment.

And the notion that the 45 base is concerned about the deficit is laughable. Most don't even know what it means. It's just like the Estate tax. They can get these people up in arms about something that does not affect them directly. Their base actually believes that the Estate tax is something their heirs will have to pay when they die.
You have to admit that the RW has done a great job in making their base believe alternative facts.
Paul Ryan needs to be challenged on his diatribe on the ACA. He is mostly misinforming and lying.
It's all good for people who can actually afford to pay for healthcare on their own. It's bad for seniors and the poor. But I guess the poor are undeserving of healthcare.
I am sorry, but it seems to me that white males across America give 45 a "pass" on anything he says
or does. Even if he hurts them and their economic well-being, they just don't seem to give a damn and continue to suck up to him. Huntsman is the latest. Cruz is another one. They have no scruples and don't seem to care how he demeans or treats them. They will sell America down the abyss if it means sucking up to 45. Un-fucking-believeable!

I had hoped that civil servants could hold their own under him but he has fired about 25% of career civil servants in the State Department. It's kinda scary because many intel agents work for SD without public knowledge. I don't think this administration has any idea about what our government is all about and how it operates. And they are too arrogant to learn.
