When Feinstein listed all the terrible things he will likely do

I thought I would cry. I am so depressed. I guess L will lose my home to pay for my preexisting conditions now. He'll probably make it illegal to take me off life support too. I hate him. He will let tRump fire Mueller and not be indicted, semi automatics will be in classrooms, women will get ill from crappy abortions, gay rights will be over, nothing will be regulated, etc. and that isn't even getting into his crazy partisanship, conspiracies, revenge, devotion to the fake prez, raping a woman, lying constantly, showing disrespect to senators, women and fathers of gun victims.

McConnell thinks he will be seen as God-like in the history books.

"McConnell has broken the Senate in order to break the Supreme Court, to install a justice who the entire mainstream legal establishment has rejected. He's doing it for the man who is sitting in the Oval Office thanks in large part to the interference of of Vladimir Putin, interference that McConnell covered up from the American people.

Trump isn't the real Russian asset unleashed to destroy the fabric of our nation. It's Mitch McConnell."

I would like DU defeatists to keep their opinions to themselves until it is OVER!

Some people would like to keep the fight going since it IS NOT OVER YET! Until it is please do not post negative replies. I understand you think you are being a realist but you are being a defeatist. We do not need to hear negative comments at this time. Thanks! RESISTANCE is PATRIOTISM!

Do you think the mailboxes are full due to Dem or GOP voters calling the reps?

I have called all day (16) and have only been able to get through to a few to leave messages. Most have "full" mailboxes. Couldn't get any real people at all. And the people I have called are the 2 iffy Dems (Heitkamp and Manchin) the rest are GOP (Flake, Capito, Sasse, Gardner, Collind, Murkowski, Heller, etc).

I think the angry Dems are calling more than happy GOP callers.

People's Filibuster to Stop Kavanaugh!
STAND UP TO THE COVER-UP.

The FBI completed its investigation into sexual assault allegations against Judge Kavanaugh. It’s everything the White House and Senate Republicans wanted—and less.
*In just five days, the FBI completed a sham investigation during which:
*It failed to interview to Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.
*It failed to interview Judge Kavanaugh.
*It failed to interview the dozens of witnesses who are eager to share corroborating evidence in support of Dr. Ford and Deborah Ramirez, including a former suitemate of Kavanaugh’s.

It failed to examine the public allegations that Kavanaugh lied under oath about his drinking habits, a claim corroborated by Kavanaugh’s freshman year roommate (who also asked to speak with the FBI).
Why did the FBI conduct such an inadequate investigation? To answer that, we need to look at who was controlling the scope of the inquiry: The White House. Trump promised us an unrestricted FBI investigation. Instead, he gave us a sham.

Surprising no one, Senate Republicans and the White House applauded the sham report and its lack of damning conclusions. Today, Republican Senators like Susan Collins claimed the report suggested a “thorough” investigation.

They can rig the system. They can smear survivors and elevate unfit, angry, partisan liars. They can show their disdain for and disbelief of survivors. But they can’t silence us.
Join us tonight to raise our voices in opposition to Brett Kavanaugh. Head to the Capitol grounds at 6:30pm – between the Capitol and the Supreme Court. We’ll be there until the final vote on Saturday.

About BigmanPigman

I am 57, retired teacher and illustrator, life-long dem., activist, union member. Also I do not use social media and I'm technologically retarded. I love dogs, rock music and swearing (a lot). My 17 year old "puppy" died on June 2, 2020. She grew up listening to Animals (Pink Floyd). She has kept me sane through the tRump years, not easy, and has given me endless love, companionship, kisses and tail wags.
