No no no no no.

First, this person did not commit a crime. Second, this person did not commit a crime. It is up to the voters to decide, not politicians. Now in a case where an accuser says that he raped her, still if he is placed on unpaid administrative he is not allowed to do what the voters want him to do. Have an investigation of both people.

No, I don't have to claim they are innocent.

They are innocent until they are found to be guilty.

I don't see anyone with skeletons in their closet.

But then again, I happen to believe in the Constitution. Have the authorities investigate both of them. One to see if he committed a crime even if it is too late for criminal charges and the other one to see if that person committed a crime.

We don't pay income taxes because of VA disability and Social Security,

but when we did we very rarely got a refund. We are not a bank, we do not loan money especially to the government. We set it up so we owed them the most we could and did not get a penalty. I don't remember all we did, but I think the main thing was to pay at least as much through withholding as our taxes were the previous year.

I have been talking to my psychiatrist.

I am 75 years old. I don't think that it is possible to die. Yes, our bodies can die, but can our energy? I don't believe in reincarnation, but in the study that our energy enters another universe. I believe in the multiverse. Of course I will never know whether I am right or not since if I die I won't know and since if I go to another universe I will start all over. I really don't spend any real time on this since I am too busy playing my FPS PC game.

I am 100% service-connected disabled.

Besides the care I get through the VA, what is important to me is HealtheVet. I take 15 medications and they are all listed right there for me to see and refill. As for my physical and mental problems, they are listed and at 3 single lines each it takes 6 pages to print. Every time I see a doctor, nurse of technician, within three days, I can read their notes. This way if there is something I do not understand, I can send them a message and they will message me back explaining the parts I didn't understand. I have an MRI of my brain taken once a year and although I really can't understand what I am looking at, the neurologist's notes help me to know how much of my brain had died in the last years. I have vascular dementia. With all that, when I do see the doctors, I know just what I have to ask them even when I said to my primary "You can't help me can you?" And I knew his answer was going to be "No". Not being morbid, I am 75 and if all my medical problems don't increase is speed, I should have another good 10 years.

Your post made me think of Berlin.

We could ask some of the ones who tore down that wall to join us.

And who puts that person on admin leave?

A person who is voted into office is subject to his or her voters. No one should have the right to place any person elected to office on admin leave. Doing so, that person can no longer function in the duties that person was elected to. Even if that person is found to be guilty, but the statute of limitations has passed, only the voters can do anything, if the laws of that state allow. What about in a statehouse in which one party has a one member majority. Does the other party then try to have two members of that majority accused of crimes so they are placed on admin leave? If it happens in one place, it will surely happen in others. We are a nation of laws and governed by the Constitution. Even a person who has been impeached, keeps their position until being found guilty.

My guess is that someone explained to her about the Holocaust.

Have they stopped teaching history in schools?

We should be going to Mars, but not the Moon.

I have been watching the first season of Mars on Netflix. It is half a story of a first trip to Mars in 2033. The other half takes place in 2016 and is scientists explaining why we should go to Mars, like if humanity dies on Earth we would still be alive on Mars and how many things can go wrong. Lots of NASA scientists and of course Elon Musk. Both parts are interesting.
