I haven't a clue
why, but I also don't know why my military records are still flagged when I got out on May 29, 1967. Most likely, there isn't any reason for national security issues but just would embarrass some people.
Seems like all cares about is the GOP.
Wants to pass a tax bill no matter if it is good or bad.
In the last 50 years
which country has invaded the most countries, the US or North Korea. Which country is more likely to be invaded by the other. At this point which country can protect itself from the other country. And most countries only follow UN resolutions they like such as every country in the Middle East. Most veterans I know have a saying, I don't know if non veterans use it. I love my country, it is the government I don't trust. This reply does in no way mean I like or trust North Korea' s government.
My first flight was June 3, 1963 on the government dime.
I enlisted om May 31 and since it was a Friday I got a 3 day pass. The orderly room I picked up my pass and plane ticket. Back then it was fun to fly. You were treated well. Also, if there were any seats open in 1st class, most airlines allowed soldiers in uniform to take them.

A change in the census.
I have read that in the 2020 census, I will no longer be White, but it is not an idea the government came up with, but people from the Middle East. About 200 years ago, my ancestors moved from the Middle East to Turkey. Then Kiev, then England and finally to the US.
Yes, I was affected.
Being army, I was not aboard the USS Liberty when it was intentionally attacked by Israeli forces, but I knew some of those murdered since all military personnel with my MOS worked for the same agency. I would write more, but I can't because even though it happened 50 years ago my military and all other government files dealing with the military are still flagged.
