Cold War Spook's JournalI am 75 years old. I moved out of a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1800 sq. ft. house
into a 12'X28' house on a fenced 3/4 acre. Kitchenette, bathroom and a 12'x23' room for everything else. I have been living here for 7 years with my 108 lb hound and 67 lb yellow lab and cat. It has a pet door. I don't see any reason to have anything bigger.
A person who is shot but not killed is wounded, he or she is not injured.
What is wrong with journalists?
The only voters who will say that the way they are acting proves they are guilty,
are those who already think they are guilty and I am one of those. We are talking about the president of the U.S. The voters, I will call them the middle group, want hard facts. What facts have they heard that Trump is guilty? I am talking about solid facts that will stand up in court. No, he is the president, they want facts that are more than solid. They want documents. They want to hear people grilled by the House. Nothing less will convince them. This isn't a boxing match, this is a street fight. If in the end, Trump doesn't have 2 black eyes, a broken nose and pissing blood, he will win.
Impeach, get the truth out there.
If you don't impeach then you are telling the country he is innocent. Yes, the Republicans in the Senate will vote to acquit, then that is what you use against them. Without impeachment, you will not have any witnesses. I would rather we go down fighting than just lying down in the fetal position sucking our thumbs.
The House is not going to get anyone to testify or get documents this way.
Impeachment proceedings are the only way. Start with Barr, get everything involving him and you will also get documents involving Trump. Stop worrying that this will help win in 2020. He is already winning with his tweets and lies and the Democrats have nothing. If they don't impeach, then they are telling the country that Trump is innocent. Even if the Republicans in the Senate find him innocent at least the truth will be out there. The Democrats can run on that against Trump and anyone in the Senate who votes him not guilty. The Democrats have got to win over as many as possible, not in his base. No matter what, his base will vote for him.
There isn't any case law for this so it would have to go all the way to The Supreme Court.
The statute of limitations is tolled if a person can not be arrested in such cases where he or she leaves the country and cannot be extradited. Since the president cannot be tried for a crime simply because he or she is president, the courts may find that this would be similar enough to start the statute of limitation once he or she (would someone please come up for a singular pronoun that means he or she) leaves the office.
We were given a Cockatiel 8 years ago
at the same time, a cat in our neighborhood had kittens. Only one lived and she only had 3 good legs. My wife had to cut off the bad leg. The bird was taught to say, pretty baby. I took a couple of years, but he finally learned to let himself out of his cage. He flew down to the cat and started talking to her. They got along great. Earlier this year the cat needed surgery on what was left of her bad leg and had to wear a collar to keep her from biting the wound. It upset her very much. The bird got out of his cage and flew down to her. He went inside the collar and started kissing her and talking to her. She stayed with that cat until the collar came off. Unfortunately, the cat died about a month ago and the bird is still upset. We have 6 dogs and 2 cats and they all get along. Now two hens have decided to live with us. One is still a little scared of the other hen but not scared of the dogs and cats, but the other one comes into the house for breakfast and dinner.

I was a computer operator at a Catholic hospital in South Florida in 1993. During orientation, we were told that we could not discuss abortion with anyone including patients. Does this change actually mean that a gay man with kidney stones could be turned away from a hospital just because he is gay?
