Putin's playbook: make yourself powerful by showing the world that Trump is your lackey.

"Violation of National Security" needs to be clearly and simply defined by the media.

This term is used constantly over the course of any given newscast. Many viewers do not comprehend that violations of our national security are serious crimes. They understand that murder, rape, robbery etc. are unlawful, but I doubt many could cite an example of a violation of national security and link it to what they are hearing on the news.

A list would be helpful:
Unauthorized disclosure of classified information
Data breaches
Terrorism
Espionage
Cyber threats

Pulling out our troops so Blackwater can go in?

Last Day to Comment on Right to Demonstrate Near WH and Nat. Mall - Comment Link Included

This is a re-post from Friday, but this important deadline is today.

You can read the proposal here and click the "Comment Now" tab to leave your opinion:

From ACLU:

"The Trump administration is proposing to dramatically limit the right to demonstrate near the White House and on the National Mall. The proposed rule changes were made by the National Park Service, which administers the areas. The proposal, which threatens First Amendment rights, would close 80 percent of the White House sidewalk, put new limits on spontaneous demonstrations, and open the door to charging fees for protesting."

So, the issue isn't that he did the deed, it is when they first heard about it.

He actually just said that people were not laughing at him but with him.

Must have really hit a nerve. Good.

Check out drivetexas.org. Texas DOT site that shows road closures and construction etc.

Great resource in weather emergency.

Per CNN: Pentagon postpones Trump's military parade

"The Department of Defense and White House have been planning a parade to honor America's military veterans and commemorate the centennial of World War I," Defense Department spokesman Col. Rob Manning said Thursday in a statement Thursday. "We originally targeted November 10, 2018 for this event but have now agreed to explore opportunities in 2019."

FYI - Rep. Chris Collins Committees and Caucuses from his website

Committees and Caucuses
Congressman Collins serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee in the 114th Congress. He currently serves on three Subcommittees: the Communications and Technology Subcommittee, Health Subcommittee, and Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee.

Communications and Technology: The C&T Subcommittee has focused on creating jobs and spurring investment and innovation in this growing sector while fighting counterproductive regulation of the Internet domestically and abroad. Its legislative accomplishments include landmark spectrum reforms to expand Americans’ access to high-speed Internet and ‘good government’ improvements to the work of the FCC.
Health: The Health Subcommittee has developed key reforms to promote medical advancement, support market-based improvements to our health care system and reject heavy-handed government control.
Oversight and Investigations: With its responsibility to oversee all agencies and programs within the committee's jurisdiction, the O&I Subcommittee has launched investigations into a broad range of topics and uncovered major instances of government waste, fraud, and abuse. This includes high-profile investigations into Solyndra, the health care law, Medicare fraud and abuse, wasteful grant programs, and numerous other inquiries ultimately designed to protect taxpayers.
