Setting the bar a little low!
Slate has a good summary of Trump's hate speech Saturday night
Other accounts focused just on the "testing," but this article goes into all the ways he urged his listeners to hate and attack.
Trump went beyond hatred, appealing explicitly to violence. He dismissed immigrants with criminal records as animals and praised Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents who start swinging at them. He extended this argument to Americans involved in the Floyd protests. Journalists call them protesters, he sneered, but they were really thugs. He encouraged his followers to take matters into their own hands. When you see those lunatics all over the streets, its damn nice to have [fire]arms, he declared. Damn nice.

Alexa is playing me old protest songs. Sam Cooke-- A change is going to come--
And this by the lovely and stern Nina.
When I think of how simply dangerous it was for black musicians to sing protest songs by them-- humbled. This is about MLK's death:
Nina Simone: Why (The King of Love Is Dead) -
What's gonna happen now? In all of our cities?
My people are rising; they're living in lies.
Even if they have to die
Even if they have to die at the moment they know what life is
Even at that one moment that ya know what life is
If you have to die, it's all right
Cause you know what life is
You know what freedom is for one moment of your life
But he had seen the mountaintop
And he knew he could not stop
Always living with the threat of death ahead
Folks you'd better stop and think
Everybody knows we're on the brink
What will happen, now that the King of love is dead?

In honor of Juneteenth, the incomparable Solomon Burke: None of Us Are Free-
None of us are free if one of us is chained.
Roger Goodell and NFL: Say his name say his name
Roger Goodell:"We, the National Football League, condemn racism and the systematic oppression of black people. We, the National Football League, admit we were wrong for not listening to NFL players earlier and encourage all players to speak out and peacefully protest. We, the National Football League, believe that black lives matter."
There was a name just hovering in my mind... I was waiting for him to say it. You know... that name that Goodell trashed and insulted... the name of the man who sacrificed his career for his right to protest police brutality.... What was his name again?
COLIN KAEPERNICK.
Indianapolis shooting -- a young white man with a gun claims "self defense"
Over the weekend, there were reports of two fatal shootings of young black men "during the violence" (making it sound that it happened in a confrontation with the police or protesters).
The first, of Chris Beatty, a beloved local football star and businessman, seems to have been because he came across some burglars or muggers (not "in the violence" . Alas, in Indianapolis, "normal murders" are quite common.
The other, however.... 18-year-old Dorian Murrell-- was at the protests when he encountered a 29-year-old white man walking around with a guy. Eyewitnesses say there was no violent encounter before; the shooter claims self defense. He shot Murrell multiple times.
It's important, I think, to distinguish 'riot violence' and "shooting during the riot'-- which makes it seem like the protesters killed someone. Headline on Sunday: Indianapolis riots leave 2 dead after 'multiple shootings' reported downtown, buildings damaged

Carlson blames Trump's response to protests on Kushner: No one has more contempt for Trump voters-
Fox host rips Trump for "weakness" after gas and rubber bullets were fired at protesters to clear way for photo-op---
Carlson accused Trump's son-in-law and top adviser Jared Kushner of preventing him from being even more aggressive.
"When the mobs came, they abandoned us," Carlson said. "This is how nations collapse when no one in authority keeps order."
Carlson, who previously argued that looting was worse than police killings, called the protesters "the worst people in our society" and those who committed violence "vicious psychopaths" who were "trying to topple our political system." Carlson had little to say about the wall-to-wall images of force used against peaceful protesters, journalists and bystanders.
"We cannot allow ourselves to become like they are," the host said. "We are not animals we are Americans."

"'No matter what,' they'll tell you: 'Our voters aren't going anywhere. The trailer parks are rock-solid. What choice do they have? They've got to vote for us,'" Carlson said. "Jared Kusher, for one, has made that point out loud. No one has more contempt for Donald Trump's voters than Jared Kushner does."
(The trailer parks are rock-solid? Eek. And they are still whining about Hillary using the term "deplorable." )
So is Kushner now supposed to be the sacrificial lamb?

Bagpipes on the beach, and Sir Paul-- Why not?
The pipe band that suddenly arrives in the middle of this McCartney song was the band from his Scottish village-- it must have been very gratifying for them to get called to do this!
