Lyle Lovett - Baltimore

With all that's in the news recently, and the recent Zappa post, this came to mind. Lyle Lovett, Baltimore.

While some people in Charm City think this is a dis towards Baltimore, I've always taken it as Lyle said: He decided to take a trip, and his grandmother begged him not to, because she knew she was dying and would never see him again if he took that trip. He went anyway, and she was right.

While I don't want to read too much in to this, I think there could be a metaphor with the current trump situation, with his party asking "Please don't go to Baltimore", but he does anyway.

The username means nothing, it was randomly generated, but now I'm stuck with it. I grew up in a liberal Christen household, and my education is why I support Democratic ideology. I was a child of politicians, and was apolitical until I went through the trauma of 9/11 (I worked next to the white house at the time), anthrax, the metro accident, and so much more. What I witnessed made me understand why I need to be political.
