Donald Trump Jr. tweets this ... getting a lot of pushback

Donald Trump Jr.
@DonaldJTrumpJr
Did anyone really think that Putin would respect Biden for even a moment or were you just ok selling that to make him seem like a viable leader rather than the feckless dementia riddled old man the rest of the world sees?

that California couple that stole millions of covid $$ and fled the country... caught in Montenegro!

Trio on FBI's Most Wanted List in COVID Fraud Scheme Captured in Montenegro

Three members of San Fernando Valley family accused of removing their tracking bracelets and going on the lam after they were convicted in an $18 million COVID-19 relief fraud case were captured in Montenegro, federal authorities said Wednesday.

Richard Ayvazyan, 43, his wife and co-defendant Marietta Terabelian, 37, and his sister-in-law Tamara Dadyan, 42, were arrested Tuesday in the small mountainous country in southeastern Europe, NBC News reported.

They have been missing since Aug. 29.

The three were among eight family members convicted of stealing more than $18 million in COVID relief loans and using the money on extravagant expenditures, like down payments on luxury homes, designer handbags, clothing and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

It was not immediately clear how their extradition to the U.S. might play out.

California COVID Frauds Who Abandoned Their Three Kids Caught in Montenegro

A California couple convicted of running an $18 million COVID relief scam—who cut their ankle bracelets while awaiting sentencing and went on the lam, abandoning three children—reportedly have been captured. Richard Ayvazyan, his wife Marietta Terabelian, and his sister-in-law Tamara Dadyan were nabbed in Montenegro, NBC News reported. The fraudsters, who went on the run in the summer and were sentenced in absentia, allegedly used pandemic-related taxpayer funds to buy houses, gold coins and diamonds. When they fled, Ayvazyan and Terabelian left a note for their three teens that read: “We will be together again one day.”

And in an interview published Tuesday with “The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show,” Trump called Putin’s recognition Monday of two enclaves in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine as independent breakaway republics “genius,” adding that Putin is “very savvy.”

----------

But on Tuesday, Pompeo’s past praise for Putin was widely circulated. Over the past month, Pompeo has called Putin “talented,” “savvy,” “shrewd” and a “talented statesman” for whom he has “enormous respect.”

Columbia Psychiatry Chair Suspended After 'Racist' Tweet About Black Model

On Monday, Dr. Jeffrey Lieberman retweeted another user's Twitter post regarding South Sudanese model Nyakim Gatwech. "It is not a work of art made of black stone or granite," read the original tweet, published by a user with the handle @zg4ever. "She is Sudanese model Nyakim Gatwech. The most beautiful among the black beauties."

User @zg4ever also said that Gatwech "is in the Guiness Book of World Records" for the darkest skin on Earth. But in 2020, Guinness tweeted and clarified that it does not monitor skin tone.

In the now-deleted tweet from Lieberman that was published by NewsOne.com, he apparently stated: "Whether a work of art or freak of nature she's a beautiful sight to behold."

Lieberman was previously the director of the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Psychiatrist-in-Chief for the Columbia University Medical Center of New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

'You Know Who I Am, Right?' Bodycam Footage Catches GOP House Candidate acts aggressive to cop

‘You Know Who I Am, Right?’ Bodycam Footage Catches GOP House Candidate Acting Aggressively Towards Cop
Ken Meyer - 3h ago

Martin Hyde is a populist, right-wing candidate who has repeatedly launched failed runs for Sarasota City Commission, though he has the backing of Roger Stone and Michael Flynn in his current bid for Congress out of Florida’s 16th district. Hyde was pulled over by Officer Julia Beskin last week, and footage has emerged of him getting confrontational toward her during the encounter.

When the stop began, Beskin disclosed up front that she had her bodycam on, and she told Hyde that she stopped him for speeding and for texting while driving. As Beskin continued to explain the situation, Hyde told her “I’ll just call your chief. How’s that? You know who I am, right?”

The stop became increasingly tense when Hyde refused to cooperate with Beskin’s request for his car registration, and he began making comments toward her that may have been a threat to end her career. After Beskin looked up Hyde’s car info and came back up to his window with a citation, he told her “I just called your supervisor. Is it your Russian immigrant status that makes you treat people like this?”

Hyde continued to act crossly toward Beskin, filmed her on his phone, and accused her of “lying” as she stoically continued with the process of the stop. Beskin moved back toward her car to wait for police officials to arrive, but she told dispatch Hyde was being “extremely uncooperative” as he stepped out of his vehicle and refused Beskin’s request that he remain in his car.

non profit exec used scholarship funds for maid service, meals, online dating,

Scholarship Cash Used to Pay for Exec's Dating Sites: Prosecutors
Mary Wickersham is also accused of using pageant scholarship funds for maid services, meals out

The Miss Florida Scholarship Program was designed to distribute funds to young women coming up through the beauty pageant world, but prosecutors say that for Mary Wickersham, an ex-executive director for the nonprofit, it was a personal piggy bank used to buy an array of goods and services for herself. NBC News reports on the Tuesday arrest and indictment of 76-year-old Mary Wickersham—who also used the aliases Mary Sullivan and Mary Harvey, per a release from the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida—who's been hit with seven counts of wire fraud, accused of stealing from both corporate and individual donors to the scholarship program.

Prosecutors say that Wickersham, who helmed the Miss Florida Scholarship Program and had access to the nonprofit's donor and sponsor list, opened up an account with Bank of America for the fake "Miss Florida" company. Then, the indictment alleges, when money came in for the real scholarship program, Wickersham would alter the checks and funnel the cash into her secret account instead of the legit one. Prosecutors say she then used that money to take care of various "personal expenses, including utilities, shopping, home goods, [a] maid cleaning service, online dating fees, and dining out."

Among the organizations Wickersham is accused of scamming are the Children's Miracle Network, which, per NBC, raises funds for hospitals, and the conservation group Everglades Foundation. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says in a release that an investigation began when it got word from the legitimate scholarship nonprofit of missing funds. The release notes that law enforcement agents believe Wickersham, over "several years," stole at least $100,000 in donations.
