There was more to the USSR's bankruptcy than Reagan wagging his finger and telling Gorbachev to "tear down this wall".
Kennedy and Carter did as much to bankrupt the Soviets as Reagan, and Bush. All the debt Reagan took on to "build up" our weapons is hurting America to this day, since none of it has been paid for.

Republicans lie like there is no tomorrow - Things like giving rich people tax cuts makes them create jobs. They know it isn't true.
Every single policy that Republicans support is only good for the wealthy and bad for the struggling, and the middle class. EVERY SINGLE ONE BAR NONE.
Republicans pretend to be Christians like there's no tomorrow, but their policies are the opposite of what Christ taught. Feed the hungry, heal the sick etc. Republicans are the opposite of what Christ would want. They are not Christian in any way shape or form. Just going to churches doesn't count and they are too stupid or brainwashed to understand.
Republicans are PURE Evil, and do evil to others, from putting kids in cages, to denying people health care and watching them die. All so corporations can profit off of sick people.

The media wants to do the "two sides" garbage all day long to attract eyeballs to sell ads to. They never tell their audiences that one of "the sides" is constantly lying, and would kill millions to increase their power even a tiny bit. That Republicans are total frauds who lie for a living, to keep drooling imbecile supporters happy.
If the media did their job WE WOULDN'T HAVE REPUBLICANS. I am not talking about Fox Lies, and the Foxworld inhabitants. They are lost causes living in a fantasy world, but talking about the rest of American news consumers.
