"Pennsylvania Goes to the Polls"

I think this is a pretty good assessment of the Pennsylvania vote;

http://www.electoral-vote.com/evp2018/Senate/Maps/May16.html#item-1

"...In general, the trend on Tuesday was that Pennsylvania Democrats gravitated toward more centrist/electable candidates and Pennsylvania Republicans gravitated toward more Trump-like candidates, as the GOP continues to become fully the party of Trump. If we are looking for signs of Democratic enthusiasm, well, about 750,000 members of the blue team showed up to vote on Tuesday compared to about 675,000 members of the red team. That despite the fact that the top of the Democratic ticket (Casey and Wolf) was uncontested while the top of the GOP ticket was hotly contested. Not overwhelmingly positive for the Democrats, but certainly positive...."...

I am going to ask Europeans to help us in the US to educate our people.

"...Time for Europe to Join the Resistance..."

..."...Europe should begin preparing for a post-Trump America and seek to avoid provoking Washington until then. It can demonstrate to Iran that it wishes to hold on to the nuclear deal and it can encourage mid-sized companies without American clients to continue doing business with Iranian partners. Perhaps the EU will be able to find ways to protect larger companies. Europe should try to get the United Nations to take action, even if it would only be symbolic given that the U.S. holds a Security Council veto. For years, Europe has been talking about developing a forceful joint foreign policy, and it has become more necessary than ever. But what happens then?

The difficulty will be finding a balance between determination and tact. Triumphant anti-Americanism is just as dangerous as defiance. But subjugation doesn't lead anywhere either -- because Europe cannot support policies that it finds dangerous. Donald Trump also has nothing but disdain for weakness and doesn't reward it.

Clever resistance is necessary, as sad and absurd as that may sound. Resistance against America...."

One form of help is to post stories in social media of how your governments help people in ways conservatives stop the US government from helping Americans.

Post daily stories about how your education system, health insurance/care systems, welfare, senior citizen care, drug policies, ...etc. work. Explain why it is better to elect people into government who believe government has a job to do helping all the people to better lives.

The crap from Russia will be repeated on social media. The conservatives in America will eat the crap and believe it. They need to get enough stories showing what government should be doing to help overcome the stupidity they get fed through Pox News and the conservative media.

If our friends in Europe can help to balance the Russian propaganda we have a better chance of bringing America back into line with the civilized World.

AP Explains: Why US militarization of border isn't new

Here's a look at how the U.S. has used the military and armed militias along the border:

"...SLAVERY AND CHINESE EXCLUSION..."

"...REVOLUTION AND REVOLT..."

"...IMMIGRATION AND DRUGS..."

I now believe Joe Biden will run for President in 2020.

I think he is so disgusted with TraitorTrump he will get into the race if, for no other reason, than to use his time taking TraitorTrump apart.

"Joe Biden slams White House over Trump aide's remark about John McCain's illness: Decency has 'hit rock bottom with this administration'"

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/11/joe-biden-rips-white-house-over-john-mccain-illness-joke.html

Don't piss off Joe!

If he runs, I will support him.

Please rec if you want to see Joe Biden run in 2020.

Understanding the Iran/nuclear deal

If you would like more info about the deal, and the likely consequences of TraitorTrump's decision, this article has a lot of info and links to various sources to check out.

The main thing I take from all is that America has lost the respect of the nations of the World. Who would ever trust any agreement made with the US again? Even our allies now understand America will not stand by our own agreements.

"...What is Trump's alternative, better plan?:

Nothing? Really?: Trump has never, on any occasion, laid out his vision for what the agreement should look like. As with Obamacare, he's been more than happy to point out the flaws in the current arrangement, but has been silent on viable alternatives. State Dept. officials admitted, off the record, that "We did not talk about a Plan B because we were focused on negotiating a supplemental agreement."..."...

Why you should set up Democratic candidates signs in even the reddest areas...

If there are more Democrats' signs up it can help to demoralize the republican't voters and encourage the Democratic voters.

The signs are a very visible way to show the country is in the process of having a "big Blue Wave".

They really do matter.

Just make sure you get plenty of signs and be ready to replace any that are torn down.

"Right-Wing Fringe Moves Center Stage"

"...In the past decade or so, as the GOP has tacked rightward, it's run some pretty fringy candidates for various offices. However, 2018 in shaping up to be the election that really takes the cake in terms of right-wing candidates who are outside the mainstream. Right Wing Watch has compiled a list of 12 of the fringiest:..."...

It is hard to believe in the year 2018 that so many of these backwards dumb-asses are serious contenders for political offices in America.

These backwards people are the ones who keep saying "we need to take our country back-(wards)".

John McCain, in the news,

I happened upon these three stories within a matter of a few minutes and believe they tell quite a bit about John McCain. So, I figured I would post them together so anyone who understands little about him can get some measure of this so-called, "maverick".

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"McCain says he regrets picking Palin as running mate"

http://thehill.com/homenews/news/386392-mccain-i-regret-picking-palin-as-my-vice-presidential-nominee

"...Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said he regrets choosing former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) to be his running mate during the 2008 presidential campaign.

The New York Times reported on Saturday that McCain, while still defending Palin’s performance, said in his upcoming book “The Restless Wave” that he wishes he had instead selected former Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.)

His advisers reportedly had warned against choosing Lieberman, who was once a Democrat, stating that Lieberman’s support of abortion rights could divide Republicans...."...

McCain is a notorious skirt-chaser from back to his days in school.

"Biden, McCain say Trump damaging US 'international reputation'"

http://thehill.com/homenews/news/386391-biden-mccain-say-trump-damaging-us-international-reputation

"...Former Vice President Joe Biden visited Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) at his Arizona ranch earlier this week as the senator is recovering from his brain cancer treatment, during which the two reportedly talked about how the international reputation of the U.S. is being damaged.

Biden recounted his visit in an interview with The New York Times, saying that McCain is, "still concerned about the state of the country,” Mr. Biden said in an interview. “We talked about how our international reputation is being damaged and we talked about the need for people to stand up and speak out.”..."...

The time has long passed that John McCain can make any difference speaking out about the level of stupidity the republican't party has been committed to.

From October 16, 2008

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/make-believe-maverick-20081016

"...Few politicians have so actively, or successfully, crafted their own myth of greatness. In McCain's version of his life, he is a prodigal son who, steeled by his brutal internment in Vietnam, learned to put "country first." Remade by the Keating Five scandal that nearly wrecked his career, the story goes, McCain re-emerged as a "reformer" and a "maverick," righteously eschewing anything that "might even tangentially be construed as a less than proper use of my office."

It's a myth McCain has cultivated throughout his decades in Washington. But during the course of this year's campaign, the mask has slipped. "Let's face it," says Larry Wilkerson, a retired Army colonel who served as chief of staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell. "John McCain made his reputation on the fact that he doesn't bend his principles for politics. That's just not true."..."...

Question for your religious republican't friends/family:

After more than 3000 lies is your version of god so stupid as to still be forgiving TraitorTrump?

What part of "thou shalt not bear false witness" begins after someone lies thousands of times?
