Pentagon Urges Restraint on Iran

Source: Houston Chronicle (print edition)

"US officials believe that both cruise missiles and drones were used in the assault and that part of the operation, which was claimed by Yemen's Houthi rebels, was launched from Iranian territory, according to a U.S. official. Tehran has denied involvement in the attack."

OK...duh. We have such things as "Google Earth", (or had, not sure, don't use it) and satellites which map ever sq. foot of the planet. We know for sure, already, where the attacks originated from. Additionally, we can "track", through electromagnetism big metal aircraft and such, and they will say they are sure, this morning. Please be alert. The Times is fairly credible, but not always. Quedtion being, why do people want to go to was against a theorcratic nation who has no intention of doing much except for continuing to BE a theocracy. Perhaps we could negotiate with them if Trump hadn't slowly but surely edged up to the question, against the advice of the Pentagon? Because he wants to keep his job.

Help me here

I've got this huge fear that Trump is going to bomb downtown Tehran in the coming months. Don't get me wrong, Iran has to live up to the U.N. treaty, because. But, I'm worried because no president ever elected has left office between terms during wartime, and no doubt, Trump knows it. Ground war is certainly on the table.

So, um...what do you think? There's a fair chance it will get out of hand internationally if it should happen, and I don't relish the ensuing trade wars.

Hidden inflation is back!

Some years ago, during the Clinton administration, there were newspaper articles and news items about the shrinking package sizes of consumer goods. It was termed "hidden inflation" as CEO's were skimming the fat by charging more for less, and people had to buy more products to feed their families.

Now the same thing is happening during the Trump admin, and not a word from the usual suspects. If I'm mistaken, please correct me and link the article. I would be interested.

Ghislaine Maxwell: the woman accused of helping Jeffrey Epstein groom girls

Source: The Guardian

The Trump administration has made a habit of blaming the victims for the crimes they have perpetrated and are perpetrating.

The women who are being held to task in the child trafficking that organized crime has, and is conducting, are molls (and Martin Scorsece has dominated the image of "the moll&quot , who have themselves been victimized as teens and forced to manage their operation as a means of deflecting prosecution if the facts were uncovered by the media. That is typical of how any sensitive mafia operation involving prostitution takes place. Any brothels will typically be managed by women, with armed men being everpresent.

Though Trump might not have been "complicit" in the operation and management of the ring, that does not get him a "get out of jail free" card. That SHOULD be obvious, but the media lapdogs are so blind as to fall for an obvious ploy be congressional Republicans to mute the affair.

From the article I referenced from "The Guardian":

"Maxwell, 57, the daughter of the late press baron Robert Maxwell, has repeatedly and vehemently denied allegations of involvement in a sex-trafficking network run by Epstein, who was awaiting trial in a New York prison when he died.

Prior to his death, Epstein denied federal charges of sex trafficking involving minors which could have resulted in a 45-year prison sentence. However he faced a mountain of evidence including testimony from alleged victims and documents obtained by prosecutors indicating an elaborate trafficking ring."
