WA Farm Fined $2 Million After 2 Workers Died From Coronavirus

After compiling their findings, the department has issued Gebbers Farm Operations, LP in Brewster more than $2 million in fines. Investigators say it's one of the largest workplace safety fines in state history.

"Gebbers made it very apparent to investigators they had no intention of following the rules as written regarding temporary agricultural worker housing and transportation," L&I Director Joel Sacks said.

L&I began to investigate the farm after they received an anonymous tip from a farmworker. That worker reported that someone at the farm's camp had died of COVID-19, alleging that the farm management not only didn't test the other workers for the coronavirus, but split up the workers who shared a cabin with the deceased, forcing them to bunk in different cabins with other workers.

Another caller told L&I he was concerned that "hundreds" of workers at Gebbers had COVID-19, including himself. He reported that farm owners did nothing to help the sick and "left them in their cabins to die," according to L&I.

Floyd Rose tremolo - love'em or hate'em

Damn I hate mine. I get so frustrated trying to tune my Ibanez that I have to set it down and walk away. It ends up taking me two or three days to finally finish the job.

When I get it tuned, it doesn’t stay tune. The hole point of this tremolo is that it’s suppose to stay tuned.

Tri-Cities liquor agent's home targeted by Patriot Prayer activist for protest rally

https://amp.thenewstribune.com/news/state/washington/article247375014.html

The founder of a far-right activist group led a noisy demonstration Sunday outside the home of a Tri-Cities liquor license officer.

“It is people like you that destroy this community,” said Joey Gibson, the founder of Patriot Prayer in Vancouver, Wash. Reuters reported in September that Facebook took down Gibson’s and the Patriot Prayer pages as part of its efforts to remove “violent social militias.”

“It is unfortunate that these protesters would turn to protest at an officer’s home who is doing his job,” Brian Smith, spokesman for the Washington state Liquor and Cannabis Board, told the Herald on Monday.

How can anyone describe patriot prayer as an activist group.

Washington bar refuses to shutdown, holds dine-in peaceful protest

Koko's Bartini is planning to continue to offer expanded indoor dining.

They have taken to social media to ask customers to come dine inside, peacefully protest, and bring a protest sign with them. The owner, Dana Slovak, says his business will not comply with the shutdown.

"The crew wants to stay open so we decided we either fight for it or we don't. It is our constitutional right to stay open. This mandate is not constitutional law and we have the right to do this," explained Slovak.

I saw an interview with this idiot on the local news and he’s asking for donations to pay for his legal fees. What a scam artist.
