That's what people are saying on the Golf Channel. He came out with a statement today doubling down on his commitment to the Saudis. He claims the PGA needs to change, he gets a 250 million dollar pension from the PGA. Golf channel reporters are claiming he needs money now, that he is under a lot of stress. His sponsors are starting to drop him and no players are backing him up.
Strange story, really unbelievable. Maybe the people at the Golf Channel are full of it, but something isn't right.

Ukraine wants to be democratic
Be careful of the narrative floating around that the people of Ukraine wouldn't mind going back to Russia. When the Soviet Union crumbled, Ukraine voted over 90% to become an independent democratic country. The people held parties in the streets to celebrate.
It did take Ukraine a while to rid itself of pro-Russian leaders and I guess that was the straw that broke Putin's back.
Trump sure tried hard to keep Putin's pals in power in Ukraine.
Hoping Germany standing up and canceling Nordstream 2 will prevent an all out invasion.
What is Putin's #1 Goal?
Is his #1 goal to annex Ukraine? Is his #1 goal to take back the old Soviet Union?
Is Putin's #1 goal to topple democracy in the United States and with the fall of the US the rest of the democracies throughout the world?
People better think long and hard about what Putin is doing in Ukraine, his plans are not to stop there.
We have over 30% of the US taking Russia's side. We have a big chunk of the MSM either taking Russia's side or bashing president Biden's response to Ukraine.

The war in Ukraine will cause hardships in the US, gas could go to 7 dollars a gallon, the fossil fuel industry will join in. Putin intends the war in Ukraine to damage president Biden.
If the GQP takes back Congress and it already controls the SC, shortly after 2024 Putin may realize his #1 goal.

What banned books have you recently read?
I read many throughout my lifetime, not deliberately, but now I am making an effort to read some banned books.
I read Stranger in a Strange land, pretty much every religion has banned this book. I laughed my ass off as I read it.
I read the Book of Enoch, banned from the bible by Catholics. It is extremely boring because it is so repetitious. It is used by the TV show Ancient Aliens to prove that we are descendants of extra-terrestrials, or at least that they interacted with us.
I am reading The Outsiders now, I don't think it was banned, but maybe.
I also just ordered A New Earth, not banned, but I gave my copy away and I want to read it again.
A banned book puts a perspective on the book as you read it to determine why people banned it?
Help me out with the Ukraine analogy.
I read Smedley Butler's book, "War is a Racket," and I believe every word he wrote. Both Democrats and Republicans have gotten us into senseless wars. It is good to learn from history, but history isn't real. it's over.
"Neighbor" Ukraine is not a military threat to Russia, none, zero. Ukraine is a political threat to Russia because the people of Ukraine decided to try democracy instead of autocracy, and that is a threat to Putin, democracy may just catch on.
One more item, Ukraine is a long way away from the United States, what do we have to fear if Russia invades Ukraine and installs a pro-Russian puppet? People had better think long and hard about that question. What Putin does in Ukraine can affect every one of our lives.
The United States invaded Iraq and in doing so committed a war crime. Putin is going to invade Ukraine and commit a war crime, there is no getting around both of those statements. You're darn right people should be condemning what Putin is about to do, even if they failed to condemn what we did, 2 wrongs don't make a right.

I do my taxes but I hear that the senior center will process them so I don't have to mail them, done by IRS people for free.
I go down and nice lady takes my papers and says one person is ahead of me. I say I can wait because there is a pool table with 3 people playing and I know 2 of them, haven't seen them in a long time. The 3rd guy starts bashing president Biden and when he's done I say I don't talk politics. It's OK for a while until a husband and wife walk by and they all start bashing presidents Obama and Biden and then they move on to bash blacks and other minorities, ugly jokes.
I knew what I was getting into because I live among them, but it dawned on me listening to their conversation. (I wasn't involved in it) I was playing pool.
These Magats only hate, and boy do they hate Democrats and especially Democratic politicians. Nothing they ever said was positive about Republicans, everything was filled with hatred and rage. I know where the term "blind rage" comes from.
These people are beyond hope are beyond help.

Well, experts here told me not to worry, go ahead and request my absentee ballot, which I did, and I checked, they received my application. Pa. legislators passed a law eliminating no excuse absentee ballots, the AG is taking it to the state SC. A Pa. judge just ruled that the law can take effect mid March a week before arguments before the SC.
Our primary isn't until May 17th so I guess I have time to make sure I get to vote.
Republicans are rat fuckers is the best way I can describe my feelings. I have voted for 54 years and this year I provided my driver's license number and last 4 digits of my SS number to apply for my ballot.

I'm worried about DOJ,
Day 62 since the Mark Meadows criminal referral.
Day 34 since the Michigan AG criminal referral re: fake electors and with the select committee subpoenaing people involved in the fake electoral scheme, tells me DOJ will not act. Go get em Michigan AG, it's on you.
Not sure how many days, I didn't keep track, for the National Archives to request DOJ investigate the stolen, damaged, burned, torn up, flushed government documents that by law must be preserved. National Archives should have investigated the case instead of giving it to DOJ. It is also being reported that Trump didn't turn in all of the documents, he is probably destroying the ones that incriminate him. I guess we should wait until he is finished going over the rest of the classified documents?
