I even heard Andrew Weissmann say that the justice system needs to be speeded up, he was discussing rich man Trump.
E' Jean Carroll filed her lawsuit against Trump on November 19th, 2019. She has been fighting Trump for over 4 years and she should be applauded for her tenacity, most people would not have the resources to fight Trump for over 4 years.
I shake my head when I hear that our guard rails are working for Trump's insurrection. Look Look, our Supreme Court shot down 60 Trump appeals for election fraud. Those 60 appeals were frivolous, not based on fact or evidence.
This latest Trump appeal to be given a divine right of a king is a joke, is a frivolous appeal that shouldn't even be heard by the Supreme Court, it should be laughed at and scoffed at. Instead, legal scholars sit down and debate a nonsensical issue.
Trump is brilliantly using the system to his advantage. He doesn't have any facts or evidence to prove his innocence in any of his indictments, so his strategy is to delay every trial. E. Jean Carroll is an inspiration, a shining light of a very brave woman who has the courage to take on Donald Trump and hold him accountable. Then again, how many years will it take for all of Trump's appeals before she gets her money?
Our justice system benefits the rich, it needs an overhaul.

Who Gives A Damn About Iowa
I didn't watch 1 minute of coverage and it appears it was pre-ordained, the race was called for Trump before most of the delegates voted which would definitely skewer the final vote for Trump.
I'm moving on to NYC and the E. Jean Carroll Trump lawsuit. Just guessing that Trump won't show up, the poor guy is distraught over the death of his MIL.
Judge Lewis Kaplan Lays The Law Down To Trump
Trump wanted the judge to delay the E. Jean Carroll trial for 1 week so he could go to the funeral of his MIL.
Judge Kaplan said Fuck No, you have a history of delaying. (my paraphrasing)
The trial starts tomorrow Kaplan told him, if Trump wants to speak the judge will allow him to speak before the court, 6 days after his MIL's funeral, one day before the NH primary, whereupon Trump scheduled a campaign rally Wednesday I believe, no word if he will testify on the 22nd.
This judge takes no shit, he has a reputation. Trump won't pull the shit he pulled on judge Engoron with this judge.
I am pretty sure about this, not positive, but the expert who testified in the Rudy Giuliani trial who figured out the damages he caused is going to testify for E. Jean Carroll also.
I am betting Trump doesn't show up for the trial but I wish he would, I want to see him try shit with this judge.

Furnace is acting up, the thermocouple needs replaced, not sensing the flame all of the time. Getting it to work most of the time by cleaning the sensor. Yeah, OK, not working right now. Lucky I have a 30,000 BTU heater in the basement to help.
Got it working again.
I saw my furnace guy in church yesterday and told him I needed that sensor. My situation is OK, I can deal with this and I suppose he is pretty busy today. 70 degrees in the house and outside cats are holed up in their heated cat houses in the garage.

Trump Has Used A Brilliant Strategy
Let's face it, it's his only strategy. he has no evidence to prove his innocence in a courtroom. No, Trump attacks the process, attacks the establishment, attacks the judge, prosecutors, witnesses, jurors, and claims he is the victim, "they" are out to get him.
Put yourselves in judge Engeron's shoes right now, Donald Trump gave him no evidence that he didn't cook his books. I guarantee that one thing that the judge is considering, if I do the right thing and give Trump the maximum, proper, penalty, will I be able to withstand the death threats and intimidation that will soon follow?
Engeron may give Trump a lighter penalty to save his own skin, and who can blame him, the violence has only increased since Jan. 6, 2021, I guess we don't have adequate laws in this country to address hate speech. Roger Stone can be caught on tape pushing to assassinate Swalwell and Nadler but if the threat isn't actionable and more specific, Roger Stone can threaten people all he wants.

The Hunter Biden Criminal Referral
2 House committees have voted in favor of a criminal referral for Hunter avoiding a subpoena.
The next step is for the criminal referral to go before the full House for a vote.
If the full House votes to send a criminal referral to DOJ, how should DOJ respond? Does it matter? Even if DOJ declines the referral don't the Magats have their talking points?
All of this done to hurt President Biden and destroy our democracy.
