I recommend the Bob Bailey episodes. His start in 1955.
There is also a Johnny Dollar app where you can listen to episodes, as well as similar apps for other OTR shows.
Pete's rules of the road
Are sometimes very hard to follow.
I listed my reasons for liking Pete after someone posted a meme identifying him as a BBQ Becky without acknowledging the implications of calling him a racist.
This was on Facebook.
Well they ended up calling him that and more: lying, not honest (what would be the difference?), sold out corporate shill, morally vacant jag off.
I posted the twitter thread the shows Petes support from people of color. And managed to escape without calling him names.
But now both my heart and brain hurt.
A Pete Primer: Tools of the Road
Hi
First of all, WOOT, 10 posts! I can finally start the thread I wanted to this morning.
Anyway...
I've been collecting resources for people to use to campaign for Pete, defend Pete, learn about Pete. Have a look. Hopefully you will find this useful.
A list of endorsements, specifically from people of color. The OP says that he will continue to update the post as endorsements come in:

A few links to Pete stories, most talking about what he's accomplished in South Bend.

Also, if you're into podcasts, I'd check out the Good Guy Pete podcast.
Let me know if any of the links don't work. I'll fix em.
Hi y'all
This is my first post. Well... actually I was here in 2004. My name then was Little Clarkie. Started with Gen. Clark and moved to Kerry when he won the nomination. Started off very meh, but was determined not to be just ABB. You have to campaign for someone, not against someone else, if you want to help the candidate.
So I read up on Kerry and ended up loving the guy. Was so very proud when he became Sec. of State.
I'm Kerrycrat now because 1. I can't remember my login info and 2. Kerry was the first campaign that I worked and 3. I still love the old guy.
I worked Obama's campaign too, even learning to create phone bank lists. I loved that campaign, both times. I felt so valued and appreciated.
I was meh on Hillary, but never did with her what I did with Kerry. I was complacent. I couldn't imagine Trump winning. I'm rather ashamed of that now.
So here I am, four years later. A Pete person, I signed up for tests and emails. I bought a t-shirt, but to tell the truth I thought of it as a souvenir.
Until Iowa. Woot!
I guess that's why I signed back up. I'm determined to be properly involved this time, even if it turns out not to be Pete. Voting blue no matter who!
Howdy!
