Powerful ad by @JewishDems pulled due to controversy.
I thought their ads were current & necessary words of warning, considering what we are dealing with today.
The warnings hold a similar danger with Trump.
I also understand the Hitler /Holocaust is a moment in history that should never be normalized.
Because it was specific.

Why do we teach our children what signs to watch for if we're going to ignore and/or deny those signs when they're staring us right in the face?

Barrett disclosed her legal work for the group, which she undertook while employed at a law firm in Washington, in the Senate questionnaire she submitted during her 2017 confirmation process to join the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. The work did not come up in her confirmation hearing.
Barrett wrote that she was one of five lawyers on a team that represented the National Council of Resistance of Iran and its U.S. representative office from 2000 to 2001 in their petition to review the State Departments foreign-terrorist-organization designation.

Trump faces N.Y. probe into valuation of assets to get loans
By Erik Larson
August 25, 2020,
New York is investigating whether President Donald Trumps company falsely reported the value of his assets to secure loans and get tax benefits as claimed last year by Trumps former personal lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen, who has fallen out with his ex-boss.
New York Attorney General Letitia James said Monday that she took legal action to enforce seven subpoenas seeking thousands of documents and testimony from multiple witnesses. They include Eric Trump, one of the presidents sons and executive vice president of the Trump Organization, who refused to show up for a subpoena interview last month, she said.
The investigation is looking into transactions involving a neo-Gothic Trump skyscraper in Manhattan called 40 Wall Street, as well as the Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago and a Los Angeles golf club, court records show. James, a Democrat, said a particular focus of the probe is an obscure property called Seven Springs on 212 acres outside New York City.

By now most people are familiar with quite possibly the most famous person to ever be convicted of tax evasion, Al Capone.
Capone was a Chicago mob boss during Prohibition who, despite ordering the deaths of dozens, was sentenced to just eleven years in prison on federal income tax evasion charges in 1931.
Slightly less well-known is Salvatore "Sallie" Demeo, described by the New York Post as a "Genovese soldier" and charged with tax evasion related to real estate deals. So why is it that so many mobsters or organized crime leaders are charged with tax evasion?
Mafioso Misrepresentation
It could be the nature of the business.
Since most mobsters' gains are ill-gotten, they are rarely eager to report those gains to the IRS. Such was the case in Capone's prosecution, as federal agents noticed that gangsters were living lavish lifestyles without filing income tax returns.
In 1927, the Supreme Court ruled that illegally earned income was subject to income tax, and tax evasion prosecutions of criminals soon followed.
Ironically, Capone was also convicted using evidence provided by his own attempts to comply with tax laws.
After his brother Ralph went to jail for tax evasion in 1930, Capone asked his lawyer to make sure his tax obligations were paid.
During negotiations with federal authorities, Capone's attorney conceded the mobster had sizeable income for 1928 and 1929 on which he had paid zero in taxes.
Those admissions, along with extensive evidence regarding Capone's spending habits, were central to proving his untaxed income.
