At the counter asked me if I wanted one. I declined then but it did remind me that the other virus will arrive soon. My wife and I went over to CVS today. Easy Peasy.
Was There an English Super Spreader at the Royal Albert Hall?

If I had been lucky enough to get a ticket I would have worn a mask. I guess they have different rules over there. Love Last Night at the Proms though.

I looked up the mask policy. Royal Albert Hall strongly encouraged masks but obviously few paid attention. Interestingly they required proof of vax, a recent Covid test or proof of natural immunity.

It has been 21 days since the concert in Central Park.
Daily reported Covid cases in New York City have declined during that period.
The seven day average for reported new cases in the City on Aug. 20 was 1868. On Sept. 10 it was 1528.
I looked for articles about Covid and the aftermath of the concert but couldn't find anything.
69 Covid cases linked to the Minnesota State Fair
The Minnesota Department of Health announced that it had identified 69 Covid positive cases linked to attendance at the Minnesota State Fair. 1.3 million people attended the Fair which ended Labor Day.

SLED opens investigation into 2015 homicide connected to the Murdaughs
South Carolina police have reopened a 2015 homicide case based on information garnered during the investigation of the murder of Paul Murdaugh and his mother in June. The name of Buster Murdaugh, the late Paul Murdaugh's brother has been connected to the 2015 homicide of Stephen Smith, whose body was discovered next to his car which had run out of gas on a deserted country road. At one time Smith was thought to be the victim of a hit and run driver. The investigation continues:

The Problems the DOJ faces with the Texas Abortion Lawsuit.
This CNN article does a good job describing the technical hurdles the DOJ will face pursuing it's lawsuit against the Texas abortion law. Not insurmountable but not easy. The real problems begin when they reach the federal appellate level. The judges in the 5th Circuit are basically to the right of Atilla the Hun.

Altered Police Report in SC Shooting.
The initial police report in the shooting of Alex Murdaugh on a lonely South Carolina road indicated that there was no visible injury and no alcohol use by the victim. A subsequent report indicated an injury and that use of alcohol by the victim was 'unknown'. Murdugh's attorney has issued a statement denying that the gunshot wound was self inflicted.
