Activists call for US apology for Marshall Islands nuclear tests

Over one-hundred activist groups, including Greenpeace, Veterans for Peace, and the Arms Control Association have signed a letter, calling on Pres Biden to apologize for nuclear tests conducted in the Marshall Islands. Between 1946 and 1958, 23 nuclear tests were carried out on Bikini Atoll and 44 near Enewetak Atoll.
